Legendary rapper Jay-Z has released a statement regarding the death of George Floyd and his conversation with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Jay posted the statement on Twitter through his REFORM Alliance organization's account. He thanks Walz for bringing in Attorney General Keith Ellison to lead the George Floyd case. 

"After our very earnest conversation, thank you to Governor Walz for doing what's right and calling in attorney general Keith Ellison to take over the George Floyd case," Jay-Z says. "Earlier today, Governor Walz mentioned having a human conversation with me - a dad and a black man in pain. yes, I am human, a father, and a black man in pain and I am not the only one. now I, along with an entire country in pain, call upon AG Ellison to do the right thing and prosecute all those responsible for the murder of George Floyd to the fullest extent of the law. this is just a first step. I am more determined to fight for justice than any fight my would-be oppressors may have.

“I prevail on every politician, prosecutor and officer in the country to have the courage to do what is right. have the courage to look at us as humans, dads, brothers, sisters, and mothers in pain and look at yourselves."

Travis Scott Posts Powerful Statement Regarding Death Of George Floyd

Travis Scott has released a lengthy statement regarding the death of George Floyd and the ensuing protests across the country.

The rapper uploaded his statement to Instagram, calling for police reform and speaking about police brutality.

"As I pace around thinking, trying to find something to ease the pain," the post began. "There are almost no words that I can think of to properly express, or I can use to suppress, this enraged feeling of us continuously losing our brothers and sisters to brutality at the hands of officers, or anyone with misguided intentions for our well-being."

"The rage that we are feeling is from direct personal experience and the constant pain of wanting our voices to be heard," he continued. "To be seen as equal and human, too. We have to change and reform police policy in our U.S. cities, and there needs to be accountability immediately! Especially when officers abuse power to the point where it callously takes a life."

"My heart goes out to George Floyd's family and everyone who's suffered loss based on this type of senseless injustice and brutality," he concluded. "Me and the team are gonna do everything possible to make sure these issues are addressed on a long-term basis. Thank u Bun for picking me up this morning and helping me figure out ways I can really help move this forward. Love. See you all soon!"

Target Temporarily Closes 6 Locations While Protests Continue

Target will be temporarily closing a number of stores while the protests following the death of George Floyd continue to be held in cities across the country.

Six stores will be closed in total, while many others will be running under adjusted hours. "We adjusted hours or closed more than 200 stores over the weekend," a Target spokesperson told USA TODAY. 

The six closed stores are as follows:

- Broadway Oakland, CA
- Buckhead South Atlanta, GA
- South Loop Chicago, IL
- Lake Street Minneapolis, MN 
- Uptown Minneapolis, MN
- Washington Square W Philadelphia, PA

CEO Brian Cornell released a statement on Friday, explaining the store's position on the protests and how the company is moving forward: "The safety of our team and guests is our top priority. We recognize the important role we play in helping our communities shop for the food, medicine and other essentials they need. We apologize for the inconvenience and will reopen our stores on their normally scheduled hours as soon as it is safe to do so.

"Our store and HR teams are working with all of our displaced team members, including the more than 200 team members from our Lake Street store in Minneapolis," Cornell continued. "We will make sure they have their full pay and benefits in the coming weeks, as well as access to other resources and opportunities within Target."

Gunna's "Wunna" Debuts At No.1 On Billboard Charts

Gunna's album, Wunna, debuted in first place on the Billboard 200 chart, this week, as anticipated.

The project earned 111,000 equivalent album units in its first week of availability. Wunna was streamed 143.6 million times, equating to 106,000 sales. The remaining units comprise of album sales and TEA units.

This is the rappers first project to debut at number one on the chart. Gunna's previous effort, 2019’s Drip Or Drown 2, debuted at No. 2 with 90,000 equivalent album units. 

“Wunna is the other side of me that I don’t really be showing,” Gunna told High Snobiety regarding Wunna. “I want people to know that I really took my time and I really put heart into this album. I made more than an album, I made a series with it. Even with the cover, the videos, with the merch and everything, it goes together. I want people to understand that I’m a real artist.”

Lil Baby earned the number 2 spot with his latest album My Turn. The project earned 65,000 equivalent album units over the course of the last week. Future's High Off Life landed at number 3 with 61,000 units. The 1975’s Notes on a Conditional Form came in at No. 4 with 54,000 equivalent album, and Polo G’s The Goat rounded out the top 5 with 52,000 equivalent album units.

L.A. Mayor To Close COVID-19 Testing Sites During Protests

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti says all COVID-19 testing sites in the city will be closed during protests over the death of George Floyd.

Garcetti says the decision has been made as a result of "safety worries across the city.”

“We need to make sure, especially in communities that have less power, that we are able to make sure people don’t disproportionately die because of the color of their skin,” the mayor said, Saturday. “We can’t do that when the city breaks down.”

"Other parts of the city I believe in, and I believe that we can step back from the situation that we see at Fairfax. If we see other ones, have quick responses to make sure we're not going to stand for the burning of police cars," Garcetti said. "We're not going to stand for people who destroy shop windows. Those very few people who want the fight. Whether you're a protester, a police officer, or someone watching on TV, none of us should stand for that," Garcetti continued. "All of us should condemn it, and all of us should support making sure that those people are brought to justice, too. There's a much bigger call for justice that we need, and that is the one that we should keep our eyes focused on, not lighting up a police car as a way of making a point." 

Garcetti also enacted a curfew on the downtown section of Los Angeles, Saturday.

Attorney General Barr Blames Violence In Minneapolis On The "Far-Left"

Attorney General William Barr says "far-left extremist groups" are to blame for recent violence in Minneapolis and other cities during protests following George Floyd's death.

"We must have law and order on our streets and in our communities," the attorney general said. "Unfortunately, with the rioting that is occurring in many of our cities around the country, the voices of peaceful protests are being hijacked by violent radical elements. In many places, it appears the violence is planned, organized, and driven by far-left extremist groups and anarchic groups using Antifa-like tactics."

Barr's new comments follow his announcement that a federal civil rights investigation would be opened into Floyd's death: "Accountability for [Floyd's] death must be addressed and is being addressed through the regular process of our criminal justice system both at the state and at the federal level," the attorney general said Saturday. "That system is working and is moving at exceptional speed. ... Justice will be served."

Earlier Sunday, President Donald Trump tweeted that he plans to rule ANTIFA a terrorist organization: "The United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as a Terrorist Organization."

Floyd died Monday, May 25, after police officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into Floyd's neck for several minutes.

Video has surfaced of Former NBA player J.R. Smith fighting with a man who allegedly broke his truck window during protests in Los Angeles.

Before video of the incident was uncovered by TMZ, Smith hopped on his Instagram Stories to get ahead of the controversy and tell fans his side of the story: "I just want y'all to know right now before you all see this shit somewhere else," Smith explained. "One of these little motherfucking white boys didn't know where he was going and broke my f*cking window in my truck.

"I chased him down and whooped his ass," Smith continued. "So, if the footage come out and y'all see it, I chased him down and whooped his ass. He broke my window. This ain't no hate crime. I ain't got no problem with anybody who doesn't have a problem with me. There's a problem with the motherfucking system and that's it. That motherfucker broke my window and I whooped his ass. He didn't know whose window he broke, and he got his ass whooped."

TMZ reports that Smith's vehicle was parked in a residential zone near the Flight Club on Fairfax Ave.

Halsey Describes Getting Tear-Gassed & Shot With Rubber Bullets During L.A. Protest

While attending the protests in L.A. against police brutality in the wake of George Floyd's murder, Halsey documented her experience on social media to bring awareness to how cops are handling peaceful protesters. All across the country, demonstrations have been taking place to protest police brutality after recent footage of a 46-year-old black man by the name of George Floyd getting killed by police proved that the issue is as prevalent as ever. Many celebrities have been spreading awareness, sharing and signing petitions, donating their funds, and attending the protests in their city. Halsey, who revealed she had donated a total of $100,000 to a number of different organizations, was out on the streets of Los Angeles to protest. The singer posted photos on her Instagram story describing the scene, indicating that she and others around her had been shot at with rubber bullets and tear-gassed by cops despite remaining peaceful.

"We were peaceful," she wrote. "Hands up, not moving, not breaching the line. They opened fire of rubber bullets and tear gas multiple times on us. Citizens who were not provoking them."

"Most of us were simply begging them to have empathy," she continued. "To reconsider. To consider humanity and our nations history and future."

"They opened fire multiple times," she explained. "I was hit twice. Once by pellets and once by shrapnel. We were gassed repeatedly for hours."

"The frontline did not relent," she concluded. "I will be returning. HAVE COURAGE."

She later clarified that, despite the rumours, she herself had not been arrested, but that many have been and are not in safe conditions.

"I WAS NOT ARRESTED," she tweeted. "Im safe. There were ppl I had to get to safety as many of them have VISAs. Myself + many of my peers were shot, gassed + antagonized. The frontline was calm + did not provoke BUT MANY ARE NOT SAFE + MANY ARE IN CUSTODY DONATE TO BAIL ORGS!!! I AM CURRENTLY."

TikTok Apologizes After Blocking #GeorgeFloyd & #BlackLivesMatter Hashtags

As streets across America filled with people protesting the injustices against Black lives in America, TikTok found itself at the center of a new controversy. Users came to found that hashtags for Black Lives Matter and George Floyd were censored. Anytime someone tried to hashtag either of them, it would come up with 0 posts, prompting accusations against the app that they were shadow blocking the hashtags.

TikTok has since responded to the allegations on both Instagram and Twitter with claims that it was a glitch in the system. "Earlier today we found & fixed an issue that widely affected the view count displayed on hashtags in the upload stage. This bug temporarily affected view count displays on hashtags in the Compose screen only; it did not affect hashtags, videos, or discovery of uploaded content," a tweet reads on @TikTokSupport's Twitter account. "While this technical issue affected a wide range of terms, we recognize that it unfortunately came at a painful time for the Black community in particular. We deeply value the diverse voices on TikTok, and we apologize for the confusion and pain this situation caused."

In a separate statement shared to their Instagram page and the @TikTokUS page, they wrote, "We stand with the Black community and are proud to provide a platform where #blacklivesmatter and #georgefloyd generate powerful and important content with over 1 billion views."

Lil Yachty & G Herbo First Week Sales Projections Revealed

Lil Yachty and G Herbo both came through with projects on Friday and it's safe to say that fans were both excited and satisfied. Yachty came through with his highly-anticipated Lil Boat 3 tape while Herbo dropped the deluxe version of PTSD. There is plenty of music here to dissect and over the last couple of days, fans have been adding their favorite tracks to their respective playlists.

Regardless of how good the music is, sales are always something that is highly debated in the industry. Your first week numbers can give people a glimpse of how well you're doing although there are many factors that go into how many units are sold. Having said that, according to DJ Akademiks, Lil Boat 3 is on track to sell 45K units in the first week while PTSD Deluxe is on pace for 27K units.

Jake Paul Catches Heat For Being In Middle Of Arizona Mall Looting

Jake Paul might have millions of young fans all around the world but on social media and beyond, he tends to get a lot of hate. It's easy to see why as his antics are always getting him into trouble and his attitude seems entitled at best. Regardless, Paul is everywhere these days as he is constantly looking for content for his YouTube page.

On Saturday night, Paul found himself in Arizona, more specifically, at a mall in Scottsdale. This mall was being looted while Paul was there and he got caught in the middle of all of it. In this video provided to TMZ, Paul can be seen watching the protesters destroy stores and steal items. While Paul doesn't actually partake in any of the lootings, you can clearly see he is amazed by what he's witnessing.

People on social media seemed to be quite outraged by Paul's involvement as they felt he is too rich to be looting like this. Once again, he wasn't actually stealing or destroying anything but social media was upset, regardless.

Since the killing of George Floyd, protests have been occurring all across the nation as people are demanding real change. Hopefully, this change happens sooner rather than later.

Faith Evans Arrested For Domestic Violence After Allegedly Attacking Stevie J

Faith Evans was arrested and taken into police custody earlier this week on domestic violence charges after she allegedly attacked her husband, Stevie J, during a heated argument. According to TMZ, officers responded to a call about an intense dispute taking place at Faith and Stevie's home in L.A., although it is still not known what triggered the argument. Upon arrival, cops noticed that Stevie had visible marks and scratches all over his face. Faith was then arrested for felony domestic violence at around 1:00am. She was released on bond later that day.

Late last year, Stevie posted a series of cryptic tweets seemingly directed at Faith that implied she might have cheated. "Found of that NO woman is faithful. Derek Chauvin Reportedly Receiving Checks Similar To Suicide Watch

Derek Chauvin was caught on camera killing George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota this past week. The officer was eventually arrested and is now being charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. As of right now, Chauvin is being detailed at the Ramsey County Jail in St. Paul and according to TMZ, he is being heavily checked on.

In the report, it states that Chauvin has a camera watching his every move throughout the day. In fact, the police are monitoring the cameras at all hours of the day and every 15 minutes, they are checking up on him to make sure he isn't causing any mischief. While authorities won't use the term "suicide watch," it is quite clear that these tactics are being used to make sure he doesn't harm himself.

New York City To Investigate NYPD Treatment Of Protesters

Protests have erupted all across the country in light of the murder of George Floyd and countless other people of color at the hands of the police. These protests have gotten violent although the escalation always seems to be induced by the cops and not the actus protesters themselves. In New York City, this is especially true as the police are constantly being caught on video getting rough with the people who are peacefully protesting.

According to reporter Lisa Evers, New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio has now revealed that the city will be doing an independent investigation into the way the police are treating protesters, although this review will also go both ways. It seems as though New York also wants to look at how protesters have been treating the police.

As of right now, it remains to be seen how these protests will continue to play out. Yesterday was the fifth night of protesting and the government doesn't seem all that interested in restoring people's faith. Simply put, people are angry and until some tangible change is created, these protests could go on for quite some time.

After a few years of remaining low-key, Anonymous came out with a message at the wee hours of the morning with a demand: officers need to be held accountable for their actions. "Officers who kill people and commit other crimes need to be held accountable just like the rest of us," he said. "Otherwise, they will believe that they have the license to do whatever they want."

Shortly after, the Minneapolis PD and the City of Minneapolis websites were disabled, thanks to Anonymous. Several users have confirmed that the site is inaccessible. As of Sunday morning, both website servers are still completely down.

The video was initially shared with an Anonymous-affiliated Facebook page, though they didn't confirm whether they were behind the hacking. Instead, they retweeted several Twitter users suggesting that they did. 

The return of Anonymous also helped Mr. Robot start trending because they made direct references to Anonymous in their fourth and final season.

50 Cent Reacts To NYPD Car Running Into Protesters

Tensions have been rising all across the country over the past couple of days and for good reason. The police killing of George Floyd has people extremely upset and numerous protests have now been started in almost every single state. New York City has been known for its fair share of police brutality over the years which means it's not surprising that there have been some pretty impressive protests in the streets.

The NYPD has been violent with the people on occasion and yesterday, a truly gruesome act was caught on camera. Essentially, a cop car tried to break through a barrier of people and ended up spreading them out across the street. The cop could have killed someone but thankfully, that didn't happen. Now, 50 Cent is reacting to the scene and he is just as angry as the rest of us.

"Now why the fuck would he drive the car into a crowd. They gonna have a hundred lawsuits for this shit," 50 wrote. The artist has been very vocal against the NYPD in the past, particularly cops who have conspired to do harm to him.

As protests continue, the police will be looking to disperse crowds by any means necessary. With that being said, we hope any of you who plan on protesting stay safe out there.

Salt Lake City Man Threatens Protesters With Compound Bow

A man was attacked at a protest in Salt Lake City, Utah, after threatening to shoot protesters with a compound bow. Video of the incident shows the man shouting "All lives matter."

KSLTV says SLC police officers pulled the man from the mob, but his car was flipped over and set on fire.

"First, I got beat up when I yelled 'All Lives Matter.' Then I pulled out weapons and I got beat up some more," said the man, who identified himself as Brandon McCormick. "The cops grabbed me and my car got totaled ... I lost everything, coming down here to try to protect [officers] with what weapons I had ... I back up the law enforcement. I know some cops are bad. I know some people are racists are bad."

The man says $1,000 and his cellphone were left in his car while it was burned. He said claimed two "black African Americans... beat him through his window because [he] yelled, 'All lives matter.'"

The protests were sparked after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25. Police officer Derek Chauvin planted his knee on Floyd's neck for several minutes. In video of the incident, Floyd can be heard saying "I can't breathe." Chauvin has been arrested on charges of murder in the third degree and manslaughter.

In the video, Killer Mike joins T.I., Dr. Bernice King and Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to encourage rioters to stop destroying their home-city.

“I got a lot of love and respect for police officers down to the original eight police officers in Atlanta that even after becoming police, had to dress in a YMCA because white officers didn’t want to get dressed with n*ggers,” he said. “Here we are 80 years later, I watched a white officer assassinate a black man and I know that tore your heart out. I have nothing positive to say in this moment, because I don’t want to be here.

Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown drove down to Atlanta, Saturday, to join in protests following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

"Being a celebrity, being an NBA player doesn't exclude me from no conversation at all. First and foremost I'm a black man and I grew up on this soil," he says in a video posted from Atlanta. "We're raising awareness for some of the injustices that we've been seeing. It's not ok.”

"Being a bystander is no longer acceptable," Brown said. "If you and your friends are around or are witnesses to cultural biases, micro-aggressions, subtle acts of racism, actual racism etc. and you don't speak up on it or do something about it, you are part of the problem. We're past the point where if it's not in your governance space so you have nothing to do with it. If you don't speak up on these issues, you just as bad."

"I cry as I type this. Dev and I suffered the most painful experience of our lives," Michelle wrote on Instagram. "My pregnancy had resulted in a still birth at almost 8 months of being pregnant -- at exactly 31 weeks 2 days when we found out that the baby girl growing inside me no longer had a heart beat after being completely fine the week before at my last doctor's [appointment].

"We are so heartbroken. We are devastated. We are speechless. We are angry. We are sad. We are confused. We are numb."

Devin McCourty shared the post on Twitter. ESPN says McCourty had discussed his excitement for Mia's birth in recent interviews.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has released a statement regarding the death of George Floyd, on behalf of the NFL.

"The NFL family is greatly saddened by the tragic events across our country," Goodell said in his statement. "The protesters' reactions to these incidents reflect the pain, anger and frustration that so many of us feel."

"Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Mr. George Floyd and to those who have lost loved ones, including the families of Ms. Breonna Taylor in Louisville, and Mr. Ahmaud Arbery, the cousin of Tracy Walker of the Detroit Lions."

Hannah Brown Issues Another Apology For Saying N-Word On IG Live

The Bachelorette Star Hannah Brown made a lengthy apology on Instagram Live, Saturday, after posting a video of her saying the n-word in mid-May.

Brown said the N-word while singing the lyrics to DaBaby’s song “Rockstar," and was immediately met with backlash.

“I didn’t want it to be the wrong time,” she said, continuing her apology. “I’ve been so concerned with not wanting to be disrespectful in taking up space when the events that are going on and the death of George Floyd is happening and there is so much suffering and anger. I didn’t want to offend anybody. And I may be offending people right now, but I realize that it’s not about the right time. It’s about the right thing. L.A. Mayor Imposes Curfew Following Protests Over Dead Of George Floyd

Mayor Eric Garcetti is imposing a curfew on the city of Los Angeles amidst protests regarding the death of Geroge Floyd in cities across the country.

The curfew will be in effect from 8:00 PM through 5:00 AM in downtown L.A. The areas affected are between the 110 Freeway on the west, the 10 Freeway on the south, the 101 Freeway on the north and Alameda on the east.

"We will always protect free speech and Angelenos’ right to live without fear of violence or vandalism. To increase safety for demonstrators, law enforcement and all citizens of Los Angeles, we are putting a curfew in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.," the mayor wrote on Twitter. "Currently, the curfew will apply to downtown Los Angeles between the 110 fwy on the west, Alameda on the east, and 10 fwy on the south, and 101 fwy on the north between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m."

A crowd gathered at Pan Pacific Park, Saturday, where an LAPD car was reportedly set on fire in the nearby area of Fairfax Avenue and Beverly Boulevard. 

533 people were arrested Friday night by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Other large scale protests have continued in cities across the United States.

J. Cole is joining protesters in downtown Fayetteville, NC marching towards the Fayetteville Police Department in response to the death of George Floyd.

Various photos of Cole on the streets of Fayetteville have surfaced on social media.

Cole has been active in protests before, having taken to the streets following the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. In 2014, he performed the song "Be Free" on Letterman and was met with wide-spread praise.

“When I made the song, it came from a crazy place,” Cole told Angie Martinez. “And I was like, I don’t know if I can go back to that place, but … when we got to rehearsal, I started reading articles, and I saw the video again to put myself back in the mainframe. It’s the most important thing I’ve ever done on stage.”

The protests throughout the country are in response to the death of George Floyd. Floyd died on May 25 after being pinned down on the neck by a police officer. Floyd repeatedly told the officer he could not breathe. The officer in question has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. Following the social media circulation of the murder of George Floyd at the hands of police officers, civil unrest has erupted across America. George Floyd Killer Derek Chauvin Receives Divorce Papers From Wife

As riots pour over into the streets of multiple U.S. cities including the nation's capital Washington, D.C., Derek Chauvin is finding that when it rains, it pours. The disgraced former Minneapolis police officer hasn't rested since he kneeled on the neck of George Floyd for eight minutes as the 46-year-old begged for his life, repeating "I can't breathe." The criminal complaint against Chauvin states that Floyd's autopsy revealed his cause of death wasn't strangulation, but underlying health conditions, heart disease, potential intoxicants, the combined effort of being restrained. Therefore, Derek Chauvin was charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.

Then, on Friday (May 29), Forbes lit up social media channels after sharing an article with accusations that Kylie Jenner and her mom-ager, Kris Jenner, weren't being truthful about the amount of money that the mogul made. "In November 2019, Jenner announced she would sell 51% of Kylie Cosmetics, the makeup brand she founded and built up via Instagram and social media, to beauty giant Coty," Forbes wrote in their more recent report. In the wake of America's disruptive response to the police-involved murder of George Floyd, Beyoncé has released a public service announcement where she pleads with the public to show their support by signing one of four petitions.

"We need justice for George Floyd," Beyoncé said in the video. "We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We're broken and we're disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain. I'm not only speaking to people of color. If you're white, black, brown, or anything in between, I'm sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now. No more senseless killings of human beings. No more seeing people of color as less than human. We can no longer look away. George is all of our family in humanity. He's our family because he's a fellow American. There have been too many times that we've seen these violent killings with no consequences. Yes, someone's been charged, but justice is far from being achieved. Please sign the petition. Continue to pray for peace, compassion, and healing for our country."

Grimes Plans To Sell Her Soul For "Best Offer" In Art Exhibit

The things people will do in the name of art. Popstar Grimes has been unconventional throughout her career but the new mother has elicited strong responses from the public after it was revealed that she planned on selling her soul. The new mom will take part in an upcoming, digital art exhibit that she's hosting titled "Selling Out." During the exhibit, Grimes, real name Claire Boucher, will sell various items including drawings, photographs, art prints, and her soul.

Grimes spoke with Bloomberg about the controversial move, explaining the method behind her madness. “I didn’t want anyone to buy it, so I said we should just make it $10 million, and then it probably won’t sell," she said. This will be a legal exchange as she told the outlet that “the deeper we got with it, the more philosophically interesting it became.”

“I really wanted to collaborate with my lawyer on art,” she continued. “The idea of fantastical art in the form of legal documents just seems very intriguing to me.” Then, Grimes decided to take into consideration that this COVID-19 pandemic has put a dent in millions of pockets, so instead of the $10 million price tag, Grimes has opted to take the "best offer" she receives.

Lakeith Stanfield Has A Few Words For Lil Wayne After Rapper Speaks On George Floyd

The recent death of 46-year-old George Floyd at the hands of four Minneapolis police officers has become the straw that has broken the camel's back. Irate citizens are destroying their own cities to show their anger at seeing another black person lose their life due to police brutality and murder, and Lil Wayne addressed the controversy while speaking with Fat Joe on Instagram Live.

"I think when we see these situations, I think we also have to understand that we have to get very specific," he said. "And what I mean by that is we have to stop viewing it with such a broad view, meaning we have to stop placing the blame on the whole force and the whole everybody or a certain race or everybody with a badge." He added, "We have to actually get into who that person is. And if we want to place the blame on anybody, it should be ourselves for not doing more than what we think we're doing."

Lil Wayne has been criticized in the past for not coming forward and speaking out when instances of police brutality make headlines. He spoke on that as well, saying that people tweet and wear t-shirts, but they don't help the families or protest in the streets. "So, if I ain't about to do all that, then I ain't about to do nothing. I'll pray for ya."

Killer Mike Gives Tearful Plea As George Floyd Protest Erupts In Atlanta

As former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin's mugshot circulates online following his arrest, George Floyd protests rage on across the United States. Atlanta is one of the latest cities to erupt in civil unrest, and the CNN building has become a target considering there is reportedly a police precinct inside. According to a report made by the New York Post, protestors chanted for police to quit their jobs while destroying patrol cars and setting items ablaze, and as community leaders in Atlanta and beyond, Killer Mike, T.I., and Bernice King have asked for irate citizens not to burn down their beloved town.

"What you're seeing live on CNN is vandalism in the lobby of CNN Center in Atlanta," tweeted Brian Stelter, a CNN correspondent regarding the mayhem. "So disturbing to see. FYI: Our control rooms and newsroom employees are several floors and locked doors away. The coverage continues, no matter what."

At a press conference, Killer Mike gave a tearful plea as he spoke directly to his fellow Atlanta residents. "We have to be better than burning down our own homes because if we lose Atlanta, what else we got?” he asked. "It is your duty to not burn your own house down for anger with an enemy. It is your duty to fortify your own house, so that you may be a house of refuge in times of organization." Watch the various clips below.

The rumored romance between DaniLeigh and DaBaby has been a topic of conversation for months. Fans have been gossiping about the artists and after they shared a few quarantine images, internet sleuths compared photos and videos and determined that they were at the same location. Quarantine has made everyone loopy these past few weeks and it is clear that society is ready to start going back into the fresh air and interacting with one another. Many have already begun integrating themselves back into the world, even if social distancing restrictions have yet to be lifted. Regardless, it looks like we're all ready to enjoy our respective summers and some of these rappers are looking to get in on the fun with some friendly boxing matches. For instance, Lil Tjay and YK Osiris recently squared up while Trippie Redd was supposed to battle Osiris on IG Live tonight.

Trippie Redd eventually decided to bow out of the fight although it seems like his arch-nemesis Tekashi 6ix9ine is gearing up for a career in boxing of his own. In the clip below, 6ix9ine can be seen dawning gloves as he spars with his girlfriend Jade who is covered in pillows as a means to protect her. 6ix9ine displays some of the worst foot-work we have ever seen although we're pretty that's the whole point considering his troll aesthetic.

Lil Nas X Apologizes For "Civil War" Joke About Recent Protests

These politically charged times have people on edge, and some things that would have been seen as playful quips on social media are being treated much more seriously. We continue to watch as protests unfold in cities across America—most recently in Washington, D.C. as people have begun to chant outside of the White House—and on Friday (May 29), Lil Nas X tweeted a simple joke that some people found offensive.

"What y'all wearing to the civil war," Lil Nas X wrote. There were quite a few people who didn't think his joke was funny, and they let the young artist know just how much they disapproved of his tweet. In turn, Lil Nas X took on a more serious tone when he issued his apology. "I am sorry for not using my platform to speak up more on the situation. i honestly feel as though it has become so normalized that even i myself am numb to police brutality towards black people. i hope this time around something changes."

Lil Nas X also shared a link to a Change.org petition calling for "Justice for George Floyd." Out of 6,000,000 signatures requested, there are over 5,900,000 signees. Alex Caruso has become a folk hero of sorts in the NBA thanks to his very particular look. Some NBA fans absolutely love Caruso while others think the gimmick has already worn thin. Recently, Caruso was on the "Lowe Post" podcast with ESPN's Zach Lowe and he got to speak about "Space Jam 2." Everyone is excited for the movie to come out and some have been wondering if Caruso would be a part of the project. Well, we've unfortunately got some bad news for you.

"No, unfortunately, there will not be an AC Fresh cameo in Space Jam 2. Maybe if it was a couple years from now I would have got the call,” Caruso said.

If you're a Caruso fan or just a Lakers supporter in general, this is pretty devastating news. However, perhaps Caruso can build himself up and become the face of "Space Jam 3," if it ever happens.
