California rapper Mozzy has resurfaced with a new project. Throughout his career, Mozzy has released dozens of solo albums and collaborative projects, and now he can add his latest studio record Beyond Bulletproof to the list. The diverse, 13-track album carries an array of sounds that proves Mozzy isn't an artist who can be boxed in.

“In my neighborhood and the ghettos of America, ‘bulletproof’ means ‘love., " Mozzy said of Beyond Bulletproof. "So this is a message that nobody can tamper with. The love that I’ve got for you, it’s bulletproof—it’s Teflon. We seasoned up the expression, I’m taking it further and saying that I love you regardless of your flaws or the rules of the street.” 

There are a few features including additional vocals from G Herbo, Eric Bellinger, Polo G, Blxst, Shordie Shoride, Lil Poppa, Celly Ru, E Mozzy, and King Von. "The middle part finds me realizing that I need to be on my own for the first time in my life to end patterns that aren't serving me anymore. Toward the end, I knock on the door of self-love. Keenen Ivory Wayans Learns The Pitfalls Of Social Media In Hilarious IG Post

If you don't have to wear pants, should you? People have been sharing just how they've been handling video calls during this quarantine, and often it requires business up top and casual from the waist down. Comedy icon Keenen Ivory Wayans decided to join the growing list of celebrities who are using their platforms to send encouraging messages to the graduating class of 2020 since they won't be able to join their peers and walk across stages to receive their diplomas. Wayans recorded a video from his home, and it's obvious that he's not getting dressed up—at least not fully—for anyone.

Papoose Lost Cousin To COVID-19, Uncle Passed Away From Hospital "Neglect"

There are major strides being taken by government officials to quell the spread of COVID-19 and hopefully end the quarantine, but the number of confirmed cases continues to grow. Daily we read news stories about people who have lost their lives to coronavirus and in a recent interview with The Real, Papoose shared that he lost two family members, a cousin and an uncle, during this pandemic.

“Unfortunately one of my cousins passed away [from] coronavirus,” the rapper said. When speaking about his uncle he revealed that another condition played a part in his death but hospitals didn't treat him quickly enough due to the pandemic. “He wasn’t feeling well [and] he went to the emergency room. Long story short, the hospitals are so focused on COVID-19 that people who have issues, they’re not really catering to them. So, it was kind of a neglect thing, but you can’t really question God’s plan.”

Papoose's wife Remy Ma also spoke about why she believes Black and Brown communities are being affected by the pandemic more so than others. “If you have any pre-existing conditions, that’s what really exacerbates [COVID-19] and a lot of people in the African American and Latino community don’t have good health care, don’t have a primary care [doctor], [and] they don’t even have the sense of going to the doctor," said Remy.

She added that she personally knows people who live their lives in pain but don't have healthcare because they can't afford it. Remy also said that when it comes to Black women, "They don’t even take our pain seriously. Fans are excited about the latter and have taken to social media to share the version of Nicki and Doja's collaboration that has been making the rounds online.

"Say So Remix is out in some countries and it looks like Nicki Minaj is already credited," the fan account wrote. "OMG!!!! y'all e gotta get this number one, if we let this slip I'll never let this go!!! SONG OUT MIDNIGHT!!!" Nicki was made aware of the post, and she slid in the comments to say that the song people are listening to now isn't what will be released later this evening.

SoleFly x Air Jordan 10 Dropping Soon: Detailed Look

SoleFly is a well-known sneaker boutique in Miami that always seems to come through with some epic collabs with Jordan Brand during Art Basel. These collabs are a staple of the Miami event and now, SoleFly is extending its relationship with Jumpman thanks to a collaboration that has nothing to do with the aforementioned creative get-together. Instead, SoleFly is looking to celebrate its 10th anniversary with an Air Jordan 10 collab.

There have been some teasers of this shoe over the last little while but thanks to @upcycle.sneaks, we now have a detailed look at what these shoes are about to look like. As you can see from the post below, the shoe is covered in creamy beige nubuck while the top part of the sneaker is dusty brown. The midsole is light blue and from there, we get a translucent outsole that provides some interesting contrast.

Overall, this is an interesting collab although it is a lot more muted than some of the other SoleFly x Air Jordan collabs we have seen over the past few years. Regardless, this model is sure to arouse some suspicion from sneakerheads, especially those in Miami.

Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Bruce Lee" Unveiled: Photos

Kobe Bryant may no longer be with us but there is no denying his influence on basketball and the world of sneakers. One of his most infamous Nike silhouettes is the Nike Kobe 5 and in 2020, the Beaverton brand has plans to drop some fresh colorways of the classic shoe. We have seen some teasers for a few already although now, thanks to the Instagram account street8oy, we have a fresh look at a "Bruce Lee" model which can be seen in the post below.

As you can see, the shoe mostly has a white upper while black patent leather hits are placed on the toe box and the side panels. Meanwhile, the Nike swoosh is white but with a red outline. We also get some yellow near the back heel, as well as red scratch marks closer to the toe box. Overall, it's a colorway that should be familiar to Kobe and Nike basketball fans.

They popped up on Instagram Live together recently, as well, and during their chat, Kid Cudi previewed his new single "Leader of the Delinquents." The response from fans was overwhelming, leading Cudi to release the track as an official single.

Recently, Jaden caught up with Complex and spoke about his relationship with Kid Cudi and whether or not the two artists planned on joining forces in the studio again. "Cudi is my mentor in life and that's my big bro forever and I'm always here for him for whatever he needs," Jaden stated. "Cudi is such an important and powerful person in the world. I would love to do a million things with him, but I'm sure that something's going to come around for us again. Besides the collab on my last album that we did, which was a dream come true for me. To have that song with Cudi was really just such a dream come true. So I'm excited."

Prince Jackson Says Father Michael Jackson Would Be "Proud" Of Charity Work

It's difficult to lose a parent at any age, but Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., or Prince, is hoping that he's making his father proud. There are a number of famous faces lending their resources and platforms to help the less fortunate during this COVID-19 pandemic, including Prince Jackson whose charity, Heal Los Angeles, has teamed up with Fresh N Lean to distribute meals to those in need. 

"I would like to think that [my dad would be] be very proud, because I think this was one of his main goals -- not only to spread his message of positivity and happiness, but to see it enacted in his kids," Prince shared with Entertainment Tonight. "As a father, I think that's what you want to do when you raise kids. You're preparing them for the world and the type of person they're going to be."

He also credits his upbringing for why he's so actively involved with charitable work. "I'm very grateful that I have this feeling that it's this collaborative ecosystem -- we all need to help each other -- and that came from the way that he raised us," Prince added. "I was very fortunate to have him as a father. I had a lot of unique experiences growing up, and what I'm trying to do with my platform and the non-profit or the charity organization is to share those experiences."

Conor McGregor Personally Delivers Supplies To Local Hospital

These past couple of months have proven to be some of the most challenging in our lifetime. The Coronavirus has claimed the lives of over 200,000 people while over three million people have been diagnosed with the virus, worldwide. There doesn't appear to be any sort of end in sight and hospitals are struggling to cope with the increase in demand. Charitable contributions are needed now more than ever and numerous athletes and celebrities are doing their best to make sure everyone has what they need to make it through this crisis.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor has been taking this crisis seriously from the start and now, he is making sure hospitals get what they so desperately need. In fact, McGregor made a personal delivery to the Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin where he dropped off medical supplies such as masks.

In total, McGregor has donated over 1 million euros of medical supplies to hospitals throughout Ireland. These contributions are huge and will certainly go a long way in helping a country that has been hit hard by the virus.

McGregor's visit to the hospital also appeared to be a morale boost for the staff who have been affected the most by this ordeal.

When they announced that they would be facing off on Instagram Live, many assumed that the groups would participate on Verzuz, which Timbaland and Swizz Beatz established a few weeks back. However, this is a separate operation. That doesn't mean DJ Paul and Krayzie Bone are opposed to working with Timbo and Swizz though.

"It's crazy, man. This is what the fans been waiting on so we gon' give it to 'em," said DJ Paul, speaking to TMZ. When asked about the people accusing them of ripping off Verzuz, DJ Paul said it's nothing but love and he would be pleased to actually be part of the platform.

"Nah, it's not a rip-off, we would love to do it on Verzuz," said the Three 6 Mafia member. "Verzuz is lit. It's the hottest thing on the internet right now. We would love to do it on that. We haven't talked to them or nothing, we just wanted to do our own little friendly competition. We'll call it a celebration."

Despite this beginning in a few hours, there's still time to make it an official Verzuz battle. Let's make it happen, Timbo and Swizz!

At just 13-years-old, JoJo became a pop princess when her single "Leave (Get Out)" topped the charts, but as she grew older, she had issues with her record label that kept her from releasing music and was told that she needed to get on a 500-calorie-a-day diet in order to be famous.

On Friday (May 1), JoJo will release her anticipated R&B project Good To Know, and she recently sat down with PEOPLE to discuss what was going on behind the scenes during the years when she wasn't able to release new music. Her father was battling an opioid addiction, and JoJo turned to alcohol to deal with her mental and emotional issues. It was common for the singer to drink until she blacked out.

“I was feeling overwhelmed and found myself wanting to get out of my mind because I was so scared and so sad,” she said. “At the end of the day, I am a product of a family with substance-abuse issues. When I woke up and didn’t know how I got home, I was like, ‘This is not okay.'" It took a few years for her to reshape her life, but after seeing a therapist and receiving a diagnosis of clinical depression, JoJo turned her life around.

“Because there is a history of mental health issues in my family, I didn’t feel any shame seeking help,” JoJo added. “Those of us who have a predisposition toward depression or a chemical imbalance — sometimes we just need a little help.”

While live-streaming on Wednesday (April 29), the rapper told his tale. "So, I kinda just stayed in the bed and I was like, 'Yo, call the ambulance. I can't move my body,'" Young Thug revealed. "Then later, when the ambulance came, I couldn't get out of the bed. They had to get me out of the bed, basically. I felt like my whole body was numb and I couldn't move."

"I went to the hospital and I had found out that I had liver and kidney failure," Thugger continued. The rapper has previously shared that he once struggled with an addiction to Lean. "And I kinda had sorta passed away like, I kinda died. I was in the hospital for like, 17 days. I left the hospital, my mom didn't trust it. So, I left the hospital, went to another hospital, they was like, 'Man, you got liver and kidney failure. You supposed to be dead. Basically, you've died. You've been dead.'" According to Kamaiyah, the beef stems from Kehlani's song, "All Me." It sounds like they were working on a project together which included the song "All Me" featuring Keyshia Cole. All three women from the Bay joined together on the track, but Kamaiyah said somewhere down the line, Kehlani decided she no longer wanted to work on the project.

Since she was out, Kamaiyah thought it was only right to scratch all the music they'd worked on together. However, Kehlani wanted to move forward with "All Me," regardless. Then, Kehlani released the track but had taken Kamaiyah off of the finished product. Later, Kehlani reportedly had a falling out with Keyshia Cole and took the "Love" singer off of the song, as well, when she released the music video.

Georgia just made getting a driver's license far easier during the pandemic but is this a good thing? Fox reports that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp just made an executive decision for teenagers who are getting their license during the pandemic to skip over the driving test, given that they get permission from their parents.

Teen drivers are still expected to fulfill all other requirements to obtain a license but the on-road test has been suspended in wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the fact that a driving test would require the driver and the instructor sitting side-by-side, the Department of Driver Services revealed the new policy to respect social distancing measures.

"During these unprecedented times, the Department of Driver Services is trying to make it as easy as a process for people to get their license and to lessen the burden on people right now," Stormi Kenney, owner of Kennesaw Driving School, told the local news outlet.

Kenney still made it clear that students would have to make sure they got all 40 hours of supervised time inside of a wheel with a licensed driver. 

This is not a permanent decision, however. The state's executive order will extend into mid-May but with the current state of the pandemic, perhaps this might get extended even longer.

Irrfan Khan, "Life of Pi" & "Slumdog Millionaire" Actor Passes Away At 53

Hollywood is grieving the loss of another great talent today. Irrfan Khan has reportedly passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53. Khan was known as a celebrated crossover actor who amassed success in in his home country of India, throughout Europe, and in the United States. If he looks familiar, he should. He's starred in films like The Amazing Spider-Man, Jurassic World, The Namesake, and the Oscar Award-winning films Life of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire.

Condolences from friends and fans have been pouring into social media as people remember the beloved actor fondly. "No one could show the range of emotions with their eyes as much as #IrrfanKhan could," one person wrote on Twitter. "From Maqbool to Paan Singh Tomar to Lunchbox, I have loved watching his acting. Gone too soon. A true international star."

According to The New York Times, Irrfan Khan was admitted to the hospital last week to treat an infection in his colon. A spokesperson stated that the actor was living with cancer and succumbed to his infection today (April 29). French Montana & Tory Lanez Have Heat Dropping Really Soon

French Montana has been at the center of a whole lot of controversy over the past few weeks following a string of feuds. It all started after he went hit-for-hit with Tory Lanez on Instagram Live where he was eventually named the winner. He's been feeling a bit cocky since then, too, which evolved into apparent shade being thrown at Kendrick Lamar and a subsequent back-and-forth with Young Thug.

In the midst of all of the madness, French Montana has kept the music coming. Releasing "That's A Fact" earlier this month, he hit the 'Gram where he announced that he and Tory Lanez were releasing new music this week. He shared a snippet of the song on the 'Gram along with some footage to accompany it while revealing the song will drop on Friday. The trailer included an horn-heavy instrumental along with a motivational audio clip of Katt Williams speaking. The song itself sits closer to the acoustic, rap-sing style that Tory's known for with French diving into the Toronto rapper's world a bit further. 

There have been many artists who've pushed back the release of their albums due to the coronavirus but it appears that French is using this time of self-isolation to flood the market before the world is back to normal. Peep the clip below.

2 Chainz Sued By Former Employee For Allegedly Not Paying Him $25K

When you're a celebrity, you often find yourself regularly engaged in some sort of legal dispute. Rapper 2 Chainz knows just about that, considering that he's been hit with a few lawsuits over the years. In 2019, he was sued over allegedly stealing a song sample, and in February of this year, he was accused of the same thing by another artist. A woman also sued him for $5 million for calling her a "thot," but a judge recently threw out her case. Now, Bossip reports that a former employee is taking 2 Chainz and the rapper's business partner Mychel "Snoop" Dillard to court.

According to the outlet, Leon Wiggins worked for the two business owners and struck a deal to help bring in more clientele to Escobar Restaurant and Tapas, as well as Hookah MRD Kings back in 2018. It was reportedly agreed that Wiggins would work as an assistant manager to both establishments, and if he made a certain amount of sales, he would also collect a commission. 

Leon Wiggins reportedly states in his lawsuit that after he sold a number of items at both restaurants, he was supposed to receive a commission of $24,713. In April 2019, Wiggin left his positions at both establishments, but he claims he was never paid what he says he's due. Wiggins also states that 2 Chainz nor his business partner ever responded to the lawsuit, so he wants to move forward with receiving a default judgment. Yet, the rapper and Dillard aren't giving up that easily, and they replied they never received the proper paperwork to give to their lawyers. As far as the commission deal is concerned, the business partners say they weren't aware of any deal. The case is ongoing.

Young Thug Remembers Pop Smoke

Rising Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was tragically murdered earlier this year but his legacy lives on in the music landscape. The pulse of his city, the late 20-year-old contributed to a movement that has taken BK by storm, becoming one of the leading forces of the drill scene and promising to have a very successful year. Unfortunately, his life was cut short but that doesn't mean we don't miss him.

Young Thug and Pop Smoke never got to collaborate in the studio but the former definitely would have liked the chance given his recent upload on Instagram.

Sharing a picture of the late rapper on his page, Young Thug remembered Pop Smoke and what he meant to his city, dropping heart emojis in the caption. While he doesn't say much else, this may be an indication of his willingness to be included on the upcoming posthumous album by the Victor Victor artist.

50 Cent is currently working on the first posthumous album by Pop Smoke, hinting at a release in the next month. The project is rumored to include featured verses from Roddy Ricch and a bunch of others. It's possible that Thugger wants in on the album after this.

Mac Miller's "K.I.D.S." Mixtape Finally Hits Streaming Services

Mac Miller's breakout mixtape, K.I.D.S., has finally made it to streaming services, almost a decade after its initial release in 2010. It appears to be a growing trend in recent weeks for artists to be putting some of their earliest (and most beloved) projects on streaming services, as fans find themselves with a lot more free time on their hands to listen to some old favourites. However, in this case, this plan was not a last minute decision as a result of the current circumstances. While Mac, is, of course, tragically not with us anymore, Rostrum Records founder Benjy Grinberg announced back in August that K.I.D.S., which is widely regarded as the body of work that put Mac on the map and launched his career, would be made available for streaming soon.

Initially, Benjy promised that the mixtape would be available for streaming by the end of 2019, but it seems there were some delays that prevented that from happening. Still, it's better late than never, and now all but two songs—"Traffic in the Sky” and “La La La”—are streamable on Spotify and Apple Music. "After Macadelic came out, Mac asked if we could clear this one next," Benjy wrote in an Instagram post on August 13th, 2019, the ninth anniversary of the tape's release. "It has been challenging but we are getting through it. We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac."

Along with the K.I.D.S. news, his team has also put the music video for one of the tape's tracks, “Don’t Mind If I Do” (which famously samples Owl City’s “Fireflies”), on Youtube. The visuals begin with an excerpt from Larry Clark's 1995 film, Kids, which played a part in inspiring the mixtape. Quavo Officially Announces Migos Single "Taco Tuesday"

Like many rap artists grappling with the prospect of releasing an album, the Migos have been feeling the impact of COVID-19 in a major way. Though the trio was originally planning to deliver their anticipated Culture III as early as spring 2020, Quavo recently confirmed that the pandemic had thrown a wrench into their plans; as live music has become an unlikely commodity to resurface this year, any hopes to monetize the album to its full potential would be squandered.

As such, Quavo recently took a moment to outline a contingency plan. Compromising with a Quarantine Mixtape, Quavo teased a return to "Day 1" vibes, though he failed to provide a concrete release date. He did, however, announce a new single would be dropping next week -- the curiously titled "Taco Tuesday," a clear homage to the great LeBron James and his dietary traditions.

While a snippet actually surfaced through backchannels yesterday, Quavo has clearly decided to get ahead and reclaim the group's agency. He even went through the trouble of piecing together an impromptu music video of himself and Saweetie indulging in a taco Tuesday of their own. Look for the new Migos banger to land on Cinco De Mayo, with hopes that the entire Quarantine Mixtape will swiftly follow.

Kevin Gates Opens Up On New Song "Still Hold Up"

Previewing tons of new music over the last month, Kevin Gates has finally released a new song titled "Still Hold Up."

One of the toughest men in the rap game, Kevin Gates is built different. He's been through the wringer and has been forced to defend his name and his territory on more than one occasion. Throughout his career, Gates has been in and out of jail, nearly losing it all at some points. He's switching up his mental though, bossing up in recent years and choosing to step harder for his family. 

On the new song, the rapper opens up as much as we've ever heard. He speaks on his current life and the trials and tribulations he's faced. He also compares his situation to others trying to be like him, realizing that he's held up strong until now, so why not continue a little longer?

Kevin Gates has not announced a new project but, usually, whenever new music starts to pop up like this from the Baton Rouge rapper, it's safe to assume something is coming. Cross your fingers!

Michael Jackson & Prince Hypothetical IG Live Battle Sheet Circulates Online

With all of the real-life Verzuz battles that have recently stormed our timelines, it was only a matter of time before fans began imagining match-ups that we'll sadly never see. Yet, the forbidden question has been presented: Who would take the Instagram Live Battle crown in a head-to-head music bout between Michael Jackson and Prince?

The pair of icons were born just months apart and went on to become two of the most celebrated musicians in history. Their lives were fraught with controversies—albeit vastly different—and they both left us far too soon. Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest as a result of a combination of drugs in his system, while Prince passed away from an accidental overdose. Even with the tragic circumstances surrounding the ends of both their lives, it's how they lived, the art they created, and the music they made that remains their lasting legacies.

Someone has imagined what a Live Battle between these greats would look like, and even laid out what songs would face-off. People are asked to fill out which song would win each round, or if it would be a tie. Kamaiyah & Kehlani May Be Beefing & Fans Want To Know Why

There's something going on with the Ks, and we're not talking about the Kardashians. Bay Area artists tend to stick together like glue, but some have wondered if there's a bit of animosity between Kehlani and Kamaiyah. The songstress and emcee have been friendly in the past, but after Kamaiyah hopped on Instagram Live on Tuesday (April 28), fans took to social media with questions about a rift between the two artists.

While on Live, Kamaiyah was just laying back and speaking candidly with her fans. At one point, someone commented something about Kehlani and then Kamaiyah began speaking about not being friends with a certain person. She didn't name Kehlani directly, but people have assumed it her because of the placement of the comment and because Kamaiyah is signed to YG's record label, 4Hunnid.

"And I don't answer no questions," Kamaiyah said after a laugh. "I ain't answering no questions. That n*gga know what it is. It's been up for a while now. Y'all keep asking me questions. I don't f*ck with her, at all. At all. She know why. That's that."
