On-Field Brawl In Missouri-Florida Game Gets Three Players Ejected

Things erupted into a straight-up brawl right before halftime during the Florida Gators versus Missouri Tigers game. As reported by 24/7 Sports, Florida quarterback Kyle Trask was absolutely drilled on a late hit by Missouri defensive lineman Trajan Jeffcoat. Soon after, both teams started to push and get aggressive on their way into the locker rooms. 

Things descended into madness from there, and Florida defensive lineman Zachary Carter could be seen at the center of it. He threw multiple punches, but also caught several in return, with Missouri linebacker Chad Bailey being one of the opposing aggressors. Even the coaches were out of line; Gators coach Dan Mullen was caught in a shouting match with Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz. 

Officials were finally able to calm both teams down and separate the brawl. Florida and Missouri receive a team-wide unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, which meant any other penalty was subject to ejection. Also, Carter was ejected from the game as well as freshmen defensive lineman Antwaun Powell and Missouri's Tre Williams. Tons of fans took to social media to call out the NCAA and comment on the crazy situation.

Serius Jones Pleads Guilty In Human Trafficking Case: Report

Serius Jones is getting out of human trafficking charges by pleading guilty to a range of other ones. As reported by The Mercury News, Jones pleaded guilty to pimping, dissuading a witness, and assault. Prosecutors in Contra Costa County, California dropped the human trafficking charges in return for this cooperation. The guilty plea will get Jones three years in prison. 

As we reported previously, Jones was charged in January 2020 before getting arrested by Walnut Creek police on February 6th. The victim, only referred to as Jane Doe, accused Jones of "willfully and unlawfully depriv[ing] and/or violate [her] personal liberty” by "forcing her into prostitution" from July 31st and October 15th, 2019. The charges also stated that Jones "assaulted" Jane Doe “by means likely to produce great bodily injury." 

Jones pleaded not guilty at first, and released an apology to fans on a jail recording that was posted to social media.  “I would never force a woman to do anything against her will," he explained at the time. "That’s not what I was raised as." He continued on to add, “I’m sorry to my fans, I’m sorry to those who look at this like a disappointment. No one’s more disappointed than me.”

Snoop Dogg Announces New Album "Take It From A G"

Snoop Dogg is a legend, and his music catalog spans decades. The veteran rapper has recently ventured into the genres of gospel and reggae before finally circling back to hip-hop. Although we enjoyed watching Snoop's musical and spiritual growth, it feels good to have him back on beats dropping bars. And we will be getting many, many more bars in the near future. The Doggfather himself took to Instagram to announce that he is getting ready to drop a new project. 

Snoop left no caption on his IG post, but blessed fans with a video and snippet of a track off the new project. The clip begins with a photo of Snoop posted up on an old school ride. The wall behind has text announcing the new album, Take It From A G, and reveals that the album will touch down in December 2020. Audio in the snippet praises the Lakers, and the video coincides with a decked out purple and gold ride that performs hydraulic acrobats as a new Snoop track blares from the system. The Lakers recently earned their 17th championship, tieing the Celtics for most championship wins of all time. Take it From A G will be the follow up to last year’s I Wanna Thank Me.

Barack Obama Details The Call With LeBron James That Help Restart The NBA

When the NBA players protested the shooting of Jacob Blake, there was talk of ending the season. Every team opted out of playing in the first round of the playoffs for one game, but that didn't seem like enough to LeBron James, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and Andre Iguodala. Barack Obama was a guest on LeBron's show The Shop this past Friday, and he revealed the details of a call with the aforementioned players that helped get the season restarted while still vying for change. 

"I think it was close to midnight when Chris, CP, calls with LeBron, Carmelo [Anthony], I think Russ Westbrook was on the phone, and the conversation we had was along the lines LeBron spoke about," Obama stated about the call.  "Protest is useful in terms of raising awareness, but given the power that the NBA players had, my suggestion was that we use that platform to see if you can start asking for some specifics. This isn't something that's just a one-off. That's sadly what we've seen, as it happens again and again. So, one of the suggestions I had for the players was: Is it possible for you guys to set up an office that allows you, on an ongoing basis, to take best practices that are going to start making incidents like [Blake] less likely?"

After the call, Chris Paul, who is the head of the players' union, and LeBron sat down and worked with the NBA to restart the playoffs, lay down calls to action, present demands that needed to be met, and pushed for voting initiatives. "As I told them though, it's not going to be solved overnight. This is something that we got to stay on. We got to keep on moving," Obama continued. "So the fact that LeBron then has also been working with More Than a Vote, working with my outstanding partner and the most popular Obama, Michelle Obama, in getting people registered, getting them educated, understanding the connection between voting and reform so that you combine protest and going to the polls, I think that's the best outcome possible."

Sean Connery Passes Away At 90

Sean Connery, the man who made a name for himself as the first to ever play James Bond, passed away at the age of 90 today, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news was confirmed by his family, although a cause of death has not been stated.

If you were a James Bond fan, then you know Connery was in the first few films including Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, and You Only Live Twice. He was also in a few more Bond films before the franchise was passed off to Roger Moore. For decades, Connery has been thought to be the greatest James Bond of all-time and his iconic lines and style will forever remain in people's hearts and memories.

Aside from James Bond, Connery also starred in huge films such as The Hunt For Red October, as well as the third Indiana Jones film where he got to play Harrison Ford's father. His last big film was The League of Extraordinary Gentleman which is a film he chose over The Matrix. 

Connery's death certainly comes as a surprise as he was a towering figure who many felt was larger than life itself. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

T.I. Condemned For "Spreading Misinformation" About How To Avoid Catching COVID-19

Over 230,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 as the pandemic surges forward, and it's unclear how the United States will grab hold of the virus to keep cases from increasing. While some cities are still on lockdown under quarantine, others have opened back up to business as usual—so while one town is still "bored in the house," another can be out at the club. Recently, T.I. celebrated the release of his album The L.I.B.R.A. where he was spotted in a packed club, and when questioned about if he was worried about contracting coronavirus, the rapper said he wasn't overly concerned.

"I've taken 13 COVID tests, they've all come back negative. All of them," T.I. told Speedy Morman. "I just took one. I get the results back in two hours. It's not like I'm just careless about my concerns for the virus. I just refuse to live in fear. I'd rather prepare, and when I say prepare, some people feel like the mask... I myself have a perspective I'd rather boost my immune system to defend me against COVID should I come in contact with it rather than wear a mask and hide in fear of coming in contact with it."

The rapper went on to explain that while he and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, have taken multiple tests, all have been negative for both of them. However, Tiny had a test that did show she had antibodies, meaning at some point she had COVID-19, but recovered. T.I. believes that if he was in such close contact with his wife and tested negative without antibodies, meaning he never contracted the virus, he is doing something right to keep himself immune.

"I've researched and I've found that COVID starts in the throat," said the rapper. "A scratchy throat, a sore throat, before it makes its way..it grows and it travels to the lungs. If you catch it while it's still in the throat and you drink warm liquids, the warm liquids wash it down to the stomach where the stomach acid then kill it."

Mel B. Asks Court To Increase Eddie Murphy's $25K Per Month Child Support: Report

It came as a surprise when news broke back in 2006 that Spice Girl Mel B was pregnant with Eddie Murphy's child. That same year, Murphy's divorce from wife Nicole Murphy was finalized, so the news of the comedian expecting another child stunned the masses. Initially, Murphy denied knowing if he was truly the father of Angel Iris Murphy Brown, but a DNA test would later prove that Eddie is her father. 

The two parents have been in and out of court over the years in regards to Angel's care. In 2009, it's reported that Mel B. was awarded sole custody of the now-13-year-old, and Murphy was ordered to pay $25K per month in child support. According to Us Weekly, the actor was also deemed responsible for Angel's education and health expenses, but Mel's attorneys have recently claimed that Murphy hasn't been keeping up with his end of the court order.

In court documents that have been recently filed, Mel B. is asking for an increase in child support due to her "dramatically reduced" income. The pop icon's attorneys, Erica Lubans and Bruce Cooperman, explained in the documents: “Eddie and Melanie have both established careers in the entertainment industry. Melanie is a singer, songwriter and television personality. Eddie is a legendary comedian and actor. Until recently, Melanie has been fortunate in her career to sustain a comfortable lifestyle for herself and Angel. Unfortunately, Melanie’s income has dramatically reduced, such that she must consider modifying child support for the first time.”

The attorneys also stated that Mel did her best to resolve the issue without involving the court, but she was unable to do so. Murphy has 10 children, including Angel. They range in ages from 31 to 22-months from five different mothers.

In what has probably been the most Kelsey Nicole has said about the July shooting incident, Megan Thee Stallion's [ex] best friend shared a few thoughts on Instagram Live today (October 30). Kelsey was at the scene when Megan was injured in the Hollywood Hills, and while the rapper has come forward to name Tory Lanez as her assailant, Kelsey has remained relatively quiet about her version of events. Tory has vehemently denied hurting Megan and said he still thinks of her as a friend, and because he has stated he isn't responsible for the shooting, people have pointed their fingers Kelsey's way. 

Kelsey Nicole has also said that she is innocent, so the mystery surrounding what happened that fateful evening remains unclear. Tory Lanez has been hit with charges in connection with the event and as fans await his fate, Kelsey shared that she'll be giving her side of the story soon. "Obviously I don't have a team behind me, it's just me. It's just Kelsey Nicole," she said in the video. "They got teams, they got Roc Nation. I don't know who Tory got, but he got a team. Clearly, these are two celebrities so if I speak out different sh*t—of course, they're going to spin the stories."

Houston Rapper Montana22 Killed While Shielding Child From Gunfire: Report

Police are investigating a tragic shooting that occurred at a Houston, Texas apartment complex earlier this week. According to ABC13, it was a normal afternoon on Monday (October 26) when shots suddenly rang out. It's unclear what led up to the shooting, but it's reported that 41-year-old Emanuel Solomon, a rapper known as Montana22, was killed during the incident. He lived in the complex with his girlfriend and her 11-year-old son, and he reportedly died shielding the boy from gunfire.

Police didn't share the identities of the victims involved, but it's stated that Montana22's ex-girlfriend confirmed that he was the fatality involved in the shooting. It's also reported that the 11-year-old boy was wounded, as well, but he survived his injuries and is currently in critical condition. Authorities claim that they are looking for three suspects who were reportedly waiting at the complex. Following the shooting, they made their way to a vehicle, described as a black Pontiac sedan, that was waiting for them nearby before taking off.

Montana22 is said to have left behind three children. We send our sincerest condolences to his loved ones.

Future's Son Jakobi Reposts Braylon Howard's Deadbeat Dad Message

It isn't entirely clear how many children rapper Future has, but some reports estimate that there are as many as eight. The two youngest have gained attention within the last year after the children's mothers took Future to court over paternity. One of those women has faded away from the limelight after reportedly reaching an agreement with the rapper, but his contentious legal battle with Eliza Reign has become an indefinite cycle of drama.

Not much is known about the mothers of Future's children aside from the more famous figures like Ciara and Joie Chavis, but he was sued by a woman named Jessica Smith years ago. She took him to court for child support and reportedly stated that the rapper neglected their son Jakobi, and a repost from teen may have co-signed those allegations.

Recently, Dwight Howard has faced accusations from two mothers of his children who claim that he hasn't reached out to his sons. Howard's 12-year-old son Braylon, who he shares with Royce Reed, even took to his Instagram Story to pen a note saying that the Los Angeles Lakers champion "ain't a real dad."

That note seems to have struck a chord with Jakobi because he reportedly reposted Braylon's message to his Instagram Story. Jakobi didn't add anything to the post, so spectators have only assumed that it's a co-sign to his personal life. Michael Bay "Songbird" Movie About COVID-19 Pandemic Releases Trailer

It was only a matter of time before somebody made a movie about COVID-19. Granted, many assumed Hollywood would only make such a movie its next conquest after the pandemic was over, but it looks as though Armageddon producer, Michael Bay, and Invisible Narratives, have already stepped to the plate, with their upcoming film, Songbird, having been cast, directed, and filmed, all under quarantine. Not a small feat, considering how many movies have been delayed due to the pandemic. 

The movie is set in the near future, in which the world is on its 213th week of lockdown, and COVID-19 has mutated into COVID-23, now attacking brain tissue. In the film’s grim reality, world citizens are forbidden from leaving their homes, infected Americans are forced into “quarantine camps,” and the penalty for attempting to escape from the COVID cops? Getting shot on sight.

The film stars Riverdale’s KJ Apa as the main character, Nico— one of the few people in the world immune to the virus— as he attempts to rescue his love interest, Sarah, who is at risk of being taken away by body snatchers because her neighbor (who seems to pose some relation to her) has come down with the virus. Like the rest of the world, Sarah is confined to her apartment and has been separated from Nico by a wall (her front door) for the entirety of quarantine, with phone and FaceTime calls being their only way of interacting.

The film’s creators have not yet nailed down a release date, but the star-studded dystopian motion picture will feature Demi Moore, Sofia Carson, Alexandra Daddario, Craig Robinson, Bradley Whitford, Jenna Ortega, and Paul Walter Hauser.

Donald Trump Jr. Claims COVID-19 Deaths Are Down To "Almost Nothing"

Experts estimate that within the last seven day, over 800 people in the United States have lost their lives to issues related to COVID-19. Data compiled from John Hopkins University states that this is a 14 percent increase from just weeks ago, and people are gearing up for the next wave of coronavirus cases in the U.S. Yet, Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, told Fox News that COVID-19 deaths are down to "almost nothing," prompting an onslaught of responses from the public.

“The reality is this: If you look, I put it up on my Instagram a couple days ago, because I went through the CDC data, because I kept hearing about new infections,” Trump Jr. said. “But I was like, ‘Well, why aren’t they talking about deaths?’ Oh, oh, because the number is almost nothing,” he said. “Because we’ve gotten control of this and we understand how it works. They have the therapeutics to be able to deal with this.”

The Trump administration has been heavily criticized for its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Trump reportedly contracted and recovered from the virus, as did his youngest son, 14-year-old Barron Trump. The President claimed that although Barron tested positive, the virus "just went away." T.I. Responds To Criticisms From Restaurant Victim: "I Just Met You!"

After being called out by the couple who were asked to leave an Atlanta restaurant for wearing sneakers, T.I. has responded to their complaints. Last week, William Johnson was with his wife at Umi restaurant when management told them they couldn't dine there because he was wearing sneakers. Johnson, a Black man, wanted to know why he was being asked to leave when a white woman wearing similar shows was allowed to stay. T.I. heard about the incident and suggested that the restaurant should be boycotted, but after meeting with the owners of Umi and filming their conversation, the rapper accepted their apology and the issue seemed as if it was over.

T.I. responded to Johnson's issues and uploaded a video where he denied the claims that he knew the owners of Umi personally while also getting fired up at Johnson himself. The rapper said he got Johnson's number from Umi's owners and he did speak with Johnson, so he doesn't understand why that video was released. "I just met you two seconds ago!" T.I. said in the clip. He also claimed that he offered to go on Live with Johnson but was denied, only to find out that Johson went Live later with these accusations.

French Montana Shares Posthumous Pop Smoke Collab "Double G"

Once again dipping his toes into the Brooklyn Drill scene, French Montana returns with a posthumous Pop Smoke collaboration. The world lost the beloved rapper back in February when he was killed during a home invasion in Los Angeles. Since that time, Pop's family, friends, and fans have kept his memory alive by honoring the late rising star. We're fresh off the BET Hip Hop Awards where Quavo performed a tribute to Pop Smoke, and now we're blessed with a new track from French Montana.

Previously, French spoke about his relationship with the New York rapper during an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe. “A lot of people don’t realize how close me and Pop Smoke was,” said Montana. “We was friends outside the music and we had a lot of music together that we was planning on putting out, and I’m just so sad we didn’t get a chance to do that... He represents the culture; he represents everything about New York.”

Busta Rhymes Returns With "Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God"

It's about that time to hear some new music from Busta Rhymes. The rap legend has been hyping the release of Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God for years as he's continuously promised that a new record was on the horizon. Fans haven't received a studio album from Bussa Buss since 2012, so to call this one "long overdue" is an understatement.

Busta Rhymes spoke with Entertainment Weekly about how he's been occupying his time creatively over the past eight years. The rapper said he was working "diligently" on creating a body of work that would speak to his soul. "I have been so fortunate to have done so many amazing projects… that were even deemed classics by the people and my colleagues and my peers," said Busta.
