Chadwick Boseman Wins Best Actor At Golden Globes

Chadwick Boseman, who passed away last August after a four-year battle with colon cancer, received a posthumous award for "Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama" at the Golden Globes, Sunday, for his role in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Boseman's wife, Taylor Simone Ledward Boseman accepted the award in his place.

"He would thank God," she began. "He would thank his parents. He would thank his ancestors for their guidance and their sacrifice."

The victory marks Boseman's first Golden Globe win.

"He would say something beautiful, something inspiring, something that would amplify that little voice that tells you you can, that tells you to keep going, that calls you back to what you were meant to be doing at this moment in history," she continued.

Riz Ahmed in The Sound of Metal, Anthony Hopkins in The Father, Gary Oldman in Mank, and Tahar Rahim in The Mauritanian were also nominated in the category.

"We have to take all the moment to celebrate those we love, so thank you HFPA for this opportunity to do exactly that," Boseman continued. "And hon, you keep 'em coming."

Other winners included Daniel Kaluuya, who shouted out Nipsey Hussle while accepting the award for Best Supporting Actor.

Victor Oladipo Turns Down Max Extension From Rockets: Report

Rockets guard Victor Oladipo reportedly turned down a two-year, $45.2 million maximum contract extension that would've kept him in Houston, according to ESPN. The deal was the highest the team could offer prior to the offseason.

Oladipo is expected to pursue a long-term deal following this season.

At 28-years-old, Oladipo is averaging 18.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists in his 13 games with the Rockets this season. He was traded to Houston as a part of the four-team deal that sent James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets.

Since the blockbuster deal, the Rockets are just 1-12.

The Rockets also acquired John Wall from the Washington Wizards earlier in the year. Wall recently reflected on the deal saying that he deserved more honesty and respect from his former organization:

I felt like I deserved the honesty and respect because I’ve been there for 10 years. I’ve been through the bad times, when we had s****y teams and when we had good teams in D.C. I never turned my back on the organization. I played through damn near every injury that a lot of people wouldn’t have played through. I played through broken hands in the playoffs. I think I did everything I could and gave everything I had, heart and soul to the organization on and off the court.

Oladipo is in the final year of a four-year, $85 million contract. The Rockets could consider trying to trade the star guard prior to the deadline on March 25th.

Daniel Kaluuya Quotes Nipsey Hussle While Accepting Golden Globes Award

Daniel Kaluuya gave a shoutout to the late Nipsey Hussle while accepting his Golden Globe award for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role" for his role as Fred Hampton in the film Judas and the Black Messiah.

“Man, this took out on me. I gave everything,” he said of the role. “Like the great Nipsey Hussle says, ‘We’re here to give until we’re empty.’ And I gave everything.”

Kaluuya's speech and the Golden Globes kicked off with technical difficulties but they were eventually able to get it under control.

Judas and the Black Messiah follows FBI informant William O'Neal as he infiltrates the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party to gain information on Fred Hampton.

“And I couldn’t give it to a more noble man. That is Fred Hampton and I hope generations after this can see how brilliant he fought, how brilliantly he spoke and how brilliantly he loved,” he continued before adding that the character helped him “grow as a man.”

Nipsey Hussle appeared alongside ASAP Rocky, Jay-Z, and more who were featured on the soundtrack to the film.

Andrew Cuomo Responds To Sexual Harassment Claims, Admits He "May Have Been Insensitive"

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has released a statement responding to recent accusations of sexual harassment, admitting that he can be "playful and make jokes" at work, but reaffirmed that he had no wrong intentions and is sorry to anyone who "misinterpreted" his actions "as an unwanted flirtation."

"At work sometimes I think I am being playful and make jokes that I think are funny. I do, on occasion, tease people in what I think is a good natured way," he admits in the statement. "I do it in public and in private."

He continues: "You have seen me do it at briefings hundreds of times. I have teased people about their personal lives, their relationships, about getting married or not getting married. I mean no offense and only attempt to add some levity and banter to what is a very serious business."

The new statement comes after a second former staffer came forward to accuse the Governor of sexual harassment in the workplace. Charlotte Bennett, who worked for Cuomo in 2020 detailed his misconduct in a new story published on Medium, earlier this weekend.

"I acknowledge some of the things I have said have been misinterpreted as an unwanted flirtation. To the extent anyone felt that way, I am truly sorry about that," Cuomo concluded.

The Game Shoots His Shot With LeToya Luckett During D'Angelo's "Verzuz"

The Game took his shot with LeToya Luckett, Saturday night, during D'Angelo's appearance on Verzuz by tagging her in the chat.

“@letoyaluckett heard your single & your song on…,” he confidently wrote.

Luckett has yet to respond, but she did announce that she's getting a divorce from her ex-husband Tommicus Walker, last month.

“After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce,” Luckett wrote on social media. “It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.”

The couple's divorce came amidst rumors of Walker having a secret family. He promptly denied the reports.

Iconic producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, who launched Verzuz together last year, went live on Instagram, Saturday night, following D'Angelo's appearance on the show and admitted that the R&B legend was originally scheduled to compete against Maxwell. The show would've been in the traditional Verzuz format, and taken place on Valentine’s Day, but the plans fell through. Instead, the event was touted as "D'Angelo & Friends" and featured appearances from Method Man, Redman, and H.E.R.

Roger Stone Dances To Pro-Trump Rap At CPAC In Viral Video

Infamous conservative political consultant Roger Stone was seen at the Conservative Political Action Committee in Orlando, Saturday, dancing with a pro-Donald Trump Florida rap artist known as “Forgiato Blow.” Video of the incident has gone viral on social media and features Blow rapping about the election being stolen, the siege on the Capitol on January 6th, and more.

"Trump 2021, yeah he had it in the bag. I just got a call from General Flynn, yeah he told me the facts. Democrats, you gonna tell me how you feelin' about that," Blow can be heard rapping on the track.

Conway The Machine has fans on the edge of the seats after retweeting a rumor that he, Eminem, and The Alchemist have a collaborative project in the works. After retweeting the report, he followed up in the replies by adding "I'm just here for the comments."

Conway, who signed with Eminem's Shady Records in 2017, recently revealed that he's no longer affiliated with the label. He disclosed the news in an interview on The Joe Budden Podcast in November 2020.

RJ Barrett Receives Massive Praise As Knicks Continue Winning Ways

When RJ Barrett was drafted third overall by the New York Knicks back in 2019, the expectations were high. Of course, no one knew if Barrett was going to pan out, especially since he was going to a team known for their dysfunction. While his rookie season was full of highs and lows, Barrett has been coming into his own in 2021, and fans are starting to love what he brings to the table.

Last night, the Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers to improve to 17-17 on the season, and in the effort, Barrett was able to notch 24 points and seven rebounds, in what proved to be a massive win that has the Knicks tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference standings.

One thing that fans immediately noticed last night was his effort on both sides of the floor and how he always seemed to be at the right place at the right time. Not to mention, his chemistry with Julius Randle and Derrick Rose has been phenomenal, making this Knicks team one of the grittier teams in the NBA.

Barrett certainly has a bright future ahead and now that he is becoming a fan-favorite, he will definitely be filled with confidence.

Nick Jonas Shines As 'SNL' Host & Musical Guest, Debuts New Singles

Saturday Night Live is known for providing timely comedic-relief during live broadcasts of the comedy sketch series. As the US government continues to struggle to roll-out its vaccination efforts as smoothly as intended, last night's episode, hosted by Nick Jonas, poked fun of the shortcomings in a hilarious cold open before transitioning to Jonas' opening monologue. The "Jealous" crooner also appeared as the musical guest in addition to hosting, giving audiences an exclusive first listen of two brand new singles, "Spaceman" and "This is Heaven." 

In the show's vaccine game show-themed cold-open hosted by Dr. Anthony Fauci (played by Kate McKinnon) “So You Think You Can Get The Vaccine,” three governors decide whether hopeful contestants will be granted a coronavirus vaccination. The judges for the show were Pete Davidson as New York governor Andrew Cuomo, Alex Moffat as California governor Gavin Newsom and Cecily Strong as Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer. 

Following the cold-open, Nick Jonas then stepped forward as the host in his introductory monologue, featuring a guest appearance from his brother and oldest Jo Bro Kevin Jonas. Later on in the show, the 28-year-old singer performed his brand new singles "Spaceman" and "This Is Heaven" for the first time ever.

The singles arrive ahead of Jonas' forthcoming album Spacemen, which is set to be released on March 12, and explore the emotional impact of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the anxiety Jonas felt during the 2020 presidential election. Check out the performance above.

Kobe Bryant's Hoop From His Childhood Sells For Exorbitant Price

Kobe Bryant merch and memorabilia have skyrocketed in price over the last year. Following his death, many collectors began to hoard as much Kobe-related material as possible, which has led to some pretty wild auctions. For instance, some floor from the Staples Center sold for $600K as it was from his very last game in the NBA. Since that time, other Kobe pieces have sold in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, including his childhood home which went for $800K.

Now, another item from Kobe's childhood has been sold. According to TMZ, Heritage Auctions recently sold the basketball hoop that was attached to Kobe's home for $37,200. When the house was sold last year, the buyer had the hoop removed as it increased the price of the home by too much. This allowed one lucky collector to swoop in and take the legendary piece of equipment.

R. Kelly Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19, Receives 2nd Dose In Prison

R. Kelly is currently sitting behind bars as he awaits trial for sex crime charges but he's made several attempts to receive bail. He's been deemed a flight risk, especially after reports emerged claiming that he and his entourage were planning to leave the country. So, he's locked up and the judge made it clear that Kellz isn't trusted to be released to the public.

It seems that the coronavirus pandemic can no longer be used as an argument for his release since he's now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to TMZ. The singer received his second dose recently from Bureau of Prisons at MCC Chicago. Kelly received the first dose in January. It hasn't been clarified what vaccine he received.

According to the Bureau Of Prisons, the singer is among the 63 inmates that have been fully vaccinated, along with 128 staff members at MCC.

Kelly previously made two separate attempts to be released on bail after the coronavirus outbreak. The singer told the judge that he feared the risk of contracting the virus. Both times he made the request, he was shut down.

Duke Deuce's Energy Is On Full Display On "DUKE SKYWALKER"

Memphis rapper Duke Deuce has taken full advantage of going viral this past year as he has dropped numerous projects all while being promoted by the likes of Quality Control. El Chapo's Wife Won't Get Extra Security In Jail: Report

Emma Coronel Aispuro, the wife of Mexican drug lord Joaquín "El Chapo" Archivaldo was arrested at Dulles International Airport in Virginia last Monday (February 22). Charged with conspiring to distribute drugs for importation into the States, the former beauty queen is allegedly being offered a plea deal. Prosecutors are planning to offer Aispuro witness protection and a new life in exchange for information on the Sinaloa Cartel her husband oversaw. In addition to mulling over this ultimatum in a Virginia detention center, TMZ also reports that the 31-year-old is getting the same treatment as any other inmate, despite being the mastermind behind El Chapo's infamous prison escapes.

Her attorney Jeffrey Lichtman told TMZ that following her drug trafficking arrest in Virginia, she's being treated just like any other government guest, and there are no extra security measures in place. 

Lichtman told the publication that she simply doesn't qualify for beefed-up security because she wasn't seen as a security risk. Comparatively, the federal prosecutors are now claiming she conspired twice to help El Chapo escape prison, including one successful break in Mexico. The Alexander Sheriff's Office, which runs the jail, has not discussed any security measures openly. 

Aispuro's treatment is quite the opposite of that of her infamous husband, who has complained about "torturous" prison conditions before his sentencing. She is being charged with conspiracy to distribute 5 milligrams or more of cocaine, 1 kilogram of heroin, 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, and 1,000 kilos or more of marijuana for importation into the United States.

Ghostface Killah & Raekwon Might Be Lined Up For Next "Verzuz" Event

Last night, we witnessed a true celebration of music. D'Angelo & Friends was more of a concert than your typical Verzuz battle and it was incredible. D'Angelo brought out a slew of friends including Method Man & Redman as well as H.E.R., among others. The Internet continued raving about the event but for Timbo and Swizz Beatz, it was back to business.

Each event they host gets better. We've received some incredible moments in hip-hop, from West Coast celebrations with E-40 and Too $hort, and down South, Jeezy and Gucci Mane made amends after roughly 15 years of beefing. In the world of R&B, they recently brought together Ashanti and Keyshia Cole (finally). So, how do they raise the stakes for the next edition?

Wu-Tang fans rejoice as Swizz Beatz and Timbo have hinted that we could expect Raekwon & Ghostface Killah to pair up with each other in the Verzuz arena. During the post-show IG Live, Swizz Beatz and Timba went through classic Ghost and Rae joints before Swizz suggested that they will be going hit-for-hit. "Hol' on, hol' on, hol' on. Raekwon verse Ghostface. Hol' on bro," said Swizz before turning the music back on.

This wouldn't be the first time a Wu-Tang member appeared on Verzuz, of course. RZA previously faced off against DJ Premier as one of the first Verzuz battles.

Bryson Tiller Attempts To Right His Wrongs On "Losing Focus"

Bryson Tiller has been on top of the r&b world for a few years now and back in 2020, the artist released a project called Anniversary which contained 10 tracks that set a whole mood. Now, the singer is back with a deluxe version of the album that is packed with five new songs, and for the most part, those vibes have been continued in the best way possible.

One of the standouts on the deluxe is a track called "Losing Focus" which sees Tiller trying to reason with his partner who he cheated on. The singer knows he messed up, and with some rapped verses, he tries to explain his wrongs and win back the girl he actually wants to be with. This is all backed up by a smooth instrumental that fits nicely in the context of the album.

Knicks Fans Express Jubilation After Attaining 17-17 Record

No franchise has elicited more frustration over the years than the New York Knicks. Fans of the team have become desensitized to horrible play and over the last couple of seasons, the Knicks have found themselves at the bottom of the standings, as they can't even seem to notch 20 wins. These days, however, the team has a brand new coach in Tom Thibodeau, and it seems like their management is making real strides to improve the team.

In fact, the Knicks are now 17-17 following a huge win against the Indiana Pacers. With the win, the Knicks are now fourth in the Eastern Conference and fans can't believe their good fortune. After last night's game, fans took to the streets of New York in celebration, and it looked as though they had just won a championship.

While there is no guarantee that the Knicks can keep up this pace, the team is looking extremely good right now. Julius Randle of the Knicks has been on another plane of existence this season, and it's looking more and more like this Knicks squad will reach the playoffs as the Eastern Conference is wide open.

They are playing gritty basketball and if you're a Knicks supporter, you can't help but be excited for the future.

Michael B. Jordan Might Be The New Superman

Michael B. Jordan is no stranger to the superhero realm. He starred in Fantastic Four in 2015 and more recently in 2018 as Erick "Killmonger" Stevens in Marvel Studio's Black Panther film. Considering this, it's no surprise the 34-year-old actor is allegedly in talks to take on the role of another iconic hero. Warner Bros. Studios announced they were working on developing a Superman reboot as produced by J.J. Abrams and written by Ta-Nehisi Coates late last week, and they're allegedly looking for a Black actor to play Superman in the new film, with MBJ in mind.

Giant Freakin Robot reported that Jordan was the studio's top choice to take on the role of Abram's reimagined Man of Steel. Sources told the outlet that the studio is currently pursuing the Creed star for the role, but it is not entirely certain if he has signed on to do the film just yet. The publication also reports that even if Warner is unable to lock down Jordan, they still would not go back to Henry Cavill, as they are allegedly committed to telling a Black Superman story.

The information is not entirely a shock either since Jordan was already heavily linked to an earlier planned version of the reboot a few years ago. He ultimately ended up turning down the role due to creative differences and conflicting schedules, but with Abrams and Coates handling the production, it may be very likely he'll get on board. 

Besides scouting out new roles, the actor has been keeping busy packing on the PDA with girlfriend Lori Harvey. The pair have been pretty open about their relationship since going public, constantly gushing about each other in the media and their respective social pages as well.

Canelo Alvarez Interrupted By Jake Paul Fans After Big Win

Canelo Alvarez had a massive night on Saturday as he quickly defeated Avni Yildirim in a three-round TKO that allowed him to march forward in the super middleweight division. Following this match, Alvarez will get to go up against the likes of Billy Joe Saunders, which is certainly going to be an improvement as far as opponents are concerned. It feels like Alvarez is running out of guys to challenge him, but alas, he marches forward.

Following last night's fight, Alvarez was in the ring for his post-match interview, when he was interrupted by two guys in Jake Paul shirts standing behind him. No one really knows where these guys came from and how they got into the ring, although Alvarez caught on to what was happening and promptly told them to get out. The two men obliged and immediately left the ring with their heads hanging in shame.

Canelo Alvarez Easily Defeats Avni Yildirim, Next Opponent Revealed

Everyone knows that Canelo Alvarez is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, and on Saturday, he proved it once again as he took down Avni Yildirim in a super middleweight title fight. Alvarez was dominant from the beginning and in the third round, Alvarez was able to knock Yildirim to his knees. Eventually, Yildirim called off the fight following the third round, which led to a TKO win for Alvarez that brought his overall record to 55-1-2.

Following the fight, Alvarez spoke about the win and what it took to come away victorious. As one can imagine, Alvarez was all business, and now, he is looking forward to his next challenger, Billy Joe Saunders.

Another Former Aide Accuses Andrew Cuomo Of Sexual Harassment

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been accused of sexual harassment by another former aide, just days after his previous accuser published a detailed account of her story on Medium. 25-year-old Charlotte Bennett now says she also experienced misconduct in the workplace while working for the Cuomo administration in 2020.

“I understood that the governor wanted to sleep with me, and felt horribly uncomfortable and scared,” Bennett told the New York Times. “And was wondering how I was going to get out of it and assumed it was the end of my job.”

Bennett's new accusation also comes after NY lawmaker Ron Kim accused the Governor of threatening his career for publicizing the nursing home scandal.

Cuomo released a statement, Saturday night, addressing the new allegations:

… Ms. Bennett’s initial impression was right: I was trying to be a mentor to her. I never made advances toward Ms. Bennett nor did I ever intend to act in any way that was inappropriate,” the statement read in part. “The last thing I would ever have wanted was to make her feel any of the things that are being reported,” he said. “This situation cannot and should not be resolved in the press; I believe the best way to get to the truth is through a full and thorough outside review and I am directing all state employees to comply with that effort. Over 50,000 Pounds Of Cocaine Seized In Historic European Drug Bust

Authorities in Germany and Belgium seized over 50,000 pounds of cocaine, Wednesday, setting a new European record for the largest amount of the drug ever seized. The week-long international operation concluded with the arrest of a 28-year-old man from Vlaardingden, the Netherlands. The total street value of the cocaine seizure is estimated to be worth several billion euros.

“We have succeeded in seizing a record amount of cocaine,” Rolf Bösinger, State Secretary in Germany’s Federal Ministry of Finance, announced Wednesday. “With this blow against organized narcotics crime—also thanks to the exemplary cooperation with European partner authorities—German Customs has once again impressively demonstrated its clout. Our strategy of continuing to massively strengthen customs is working.”

35,658 pounds of cocaine were found hidden in 1,728 cans of construction putty being shipped from Paraguay, via Tangier and Rotterdam. Additionally, authorities found 15,873 pounds of cocaine by searching other suspicious shipments being sent to the same recipient using a process described as "risk analysis." The second shipment was alleged to be containing blocks of wood.

“The intercepted mega-shipments to the Netherlands together form an absolute record. Never before has so much cocaine been intercepted at once,” a Dutch police spokesperson noted.

FDA Approves Johnson & Johnson's One-Dose Vaccine For COVID-19

The Food and Drug Administration has approved a third coronavirus vaccine for use in the United States. Johnson & Johnson's one-dose vaccine to combat the deadly virus that has killed over 500,000 people in the U.S. over the last year will be made available as soon as possible. Shipments of the first few million doses are expected to go out Monday.

“This is really good news,” Dr. Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health, told The Associated Press Saturday. “The most important thing we can do right now is to get as many shots in as many arms as we can.”

J&J's one-dose vaccine has been found to be 85% protective against the strongest strains of COVID-19. The company says 20 million doses are expected to be delivered by the end of March and 100 million by the start of summer.

“This is exciting news for all Americans, and an encouraging development in our efforts to bring an end to the crisis,” President Joe Biden said in a statement. “But I want to be clear: this fight is far from over."

J&J is still seeking approval for emergency use in Europe and from the World Health Organization.

Survey Finds 38% Of Respondents Would Give Up Sex To Travel Safely Again

A new survey conducted by the hotel search platform Trivago has found that 38% percent of respondents said they would give up sex for a year to be able to travel again, an activity that has been dramatically restricted as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.  The new survey was conducted from Jan. 3-9 and polled over 2,000 adults in the U.S. and U.K.

Arguing for the importance of travel in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Trivago found that over 80% of those surveyed agree that travel is a part of a "well-rounded life."

In addition to giving up sex for a year, Trivago added that "one in five said they would give up their partner to travel now," and that "nearly half would give up their job."

Trivago's survey results come as the United States has now passed one-year since COVID-19 was first discovered in the country.

"The exceptionally prolonged lockdown because of ineffective management and the subsequent social disruptions and economic misery — in many ways worse than the Great Depression, with tremendous inequities, hunger, homelessness, unemployment, and despair — are already leading to rampant drug addiction, depression, suicides, and homicides," New York City-based forensic psychiatrist and violence expert Dr. Bandy X. "It’s been a pivotal season & this episode will be one of the most storied shows in its history. Empathy is needed and change is coming. See y’all then!"

In response to Good Morning America revealing the news, Acho replied, "Life changing. I can’t wait!"

Harrison announced his decision to take a break from the show, earlier this month with a statement apologizing for his defense of Kirkconnell: “This historic season of The Bachelor should not be marred or overshadowed by my mistakes or diminished by my actions. To that end, I have consulted with Warner Bros. and ABC and will be stepping aside for a period of time and will not join for the After the Final Rose special.”

Kirkconnell has been accused of attending an antebellum plantation-themed party in 2018, wearing an offensive Native American costume, and posting pictures of Confederate flags on social media.

Ray Fisher Reminds Fans Of Warner Bros. Accusations Amid Black Superman Rumors

Following reports that a Black Superman film may be imminent, Ray Fisher, who starred as Cyborg in 2017's Justice League and accused director Joss Whedon of misconduct, is continuing to criticize Warner Bros. Saturday, Fisher reminded his followers of the accusations he leveled against the makers of the potential film.

Kenan Thompson Recalls Alex Trebek Praising "SNL's" "Black Jeopardy!" Sketch

Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson says the late beloved Jeopardy! host, Alex Trebek, loved the sketch comedy show's recurring "Black Jeopardy!" bit. Speaking with Sean Evans on a recent episode of Hot Ones, Thompson recalled meeting Trebek in 2019 and discussing the iconic SNL skit.

“That was the first thing he mentioned,” Thompson said of running into Trebek backstage at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas. “He actually said ‘God bless you for figuring out how to do a Jeopardy! behind the legendary Will Ferrell Jeopardy!”

The "Black Jeopardy!" sketch first aired in 2016. Thompson gave a shoutout to Michael Che and others on the SNL writing staff for helping him put together the concept.

“He was patting me on the back about that, but I was patting him on the back for probably being one of the smartest people in the world,” Thompson continued. “Because it seems like he knows the answer to all of those Jeopardy! questions. It seems like wherever Tekashi 6ix9ine goes, trouble soon follows suit. The Brooklyn native returned home last year in April after receiving a two-year prison sentence in his high-profile federal RICO case, which ended with him being dubbed a "snitch" by many in the hip-hop community. Obviously a sore topic for the 24-year-old "Gooba" artist, it seems like someone referring to him as such was the source of a brawl inside a Miami strip club a week ago. According to TMZ, the rapper, née Daniel Hernandez, ended up smashing a bottle on a dancer's head inside the club after she accidentally got caught in the crossfire.

Alexis Salaberrios is now hitting the troubled rapper with a lawsuit she filed Friday (February 26) over the bloody incident that happened on February 20th inside Gold Rush Cabaret. In the suit, she claims Hernandez "deadly object with intent to commit serious bodily injury." Her attorney David M. Tarlow told TMZ the deadly object in question was a champagne bottle, and he's claiming Tekashi flung the object at someone who called him a rat. The bottle missed its target, and Alexis is claiming she suffered from the blow instead. 

Tarlow tells the publication her injuries required a trip to the emergency room where she had to receive numerous staples to close a pretty nasty head wound. In legal docs obtained by TMZ, Alexis is also aiming her guns at the Gold Rush club for their lack of security around Hernandez considering he's known to have a "propensity for violence." After being injured, she claims club staffers ushered the rapper out and immediately pressured her to not call the police regarding the incident.

She's suing the club for gross negligence and Tekashi for aggravated battery, but his attorney claims he was involved in no such thing. "There are video cameras in the establishment. It’s an attempt to shake him down. If he is served properly, we will immediately move to have it dismissed," told Lance Lazzaro to TMZ.

Lennox Lewis Speaks On Potential Mike Tyson Rematch

Back in 2002, Mike Tyson was defeated by the likes of Lennox Lewis after claiming that he would eat Lewis' children. This was at the peak of Tyson's troubles and since that time, the boxer has mellowed out and has changed his life for the better. In the late stages of 2020, Tyson came back into the ring where he fought against Roy Jones Jr. to a tie. Since that time, fans have wondered who Tyson will fight next, and Lewis has been near the top of the wishlist.

Recently, TMZ caught up with Lewis, where they spoke to him about the possibility of fighting Tyson again. As Lewis explained, he hasn't discussed it but if the fans are down for it, he would be more than happy to negotiate a deal.

"If the public wanted it then we would probably talk," Tyson said. "I don't know. I don't really have nothing pushing me in the ring right now. People would love to see that fight but I don't know."

YBN Nahmir caught up with VladTVfor a lengthy interview, and during their conversation, the rapper touched on advice he received from the late star.

"They always expect it to be the end of it," Nahmir said of critics believing every release is his last. "That's what everybody gotta understand. They're waiting for the end because they're not there yet. It's so many people in this world that want to judge you because they world is f*cked up and they'll try to make your life horrible because their life horrible. But they trying to hide that sh*t so they'll try to f*ck with you. I learned that a long time ago, especially when I was like, 18."

Chloe X Halle Learned To "[Block] Out All The Negativity" From Beyoncé

We've recently received Chloe x Halle's Ungodly Hour (Chrome Edition), and as fans enjoy the extra tracks included on the deluxe version of their latest project, the ladies caught up with Rolling Stone for their "Women Shaping the Future" issue. The ladies spoke about how their mentor, Beyoncé, has given them lessons that help them navigate an industry that often pulls them in all directions and Chloe spoke about meeting the icon on a movie set.

“One of the great things I’ve been able to witness as a fan as well as in-person is her grace,” Chloe said. “She’s human, but the way she just blocks out the negativity and never really responds to the B.S. and just lets the art and her talent and work speak for itself — that is really inspiring to my sister and me as young women."

"What we’re doing is not easy and you’re constantly putting yourself out there in your most vulnerable state and you’re open to constant criticism from the entire world," she continued. "What I appreciate about her is how she chooses to rise above it, stand tall on it. And that’s why she’s Queen B and that’s how she is who she is.”

Chloe also explained that she first met Beyoncé while portraying a younger version of the star in the 2003 film The Fighting Temptations. “When I met her, she had the best spirit,” she said. “She was so nice to me and I just remember she always wanted to dance with me and hold me. So because of that, I really loved her. I started falling more in love with her music.”

“As women, ‘I’m a survivor,’ it was just so inspiring," she added about the Destiny' child megahit. "It made you want to be yourself and it made you feel confident and free in being a woman.”

Lil Mo Returns To The R&B Scene With "Broken Heart" Single

It's been a while since we received new music from Lil Mo. The celebrated singer is responsible for belting out a few of our favorite R&B and Hip Hop hits, including "Superwoman Pt. II" and "Can't Let You Go" with Fabolous, as well as "Hot Boyz" with Missy Elliott, "Wifey" with Next, "Take Me Away" Featuring Maino, and "Put It on Me" with Ja Rule and Vita. As much as she's respected by her fellow artists and fans alike, Mo hasn't released a new album since 2014's The Scarlett Letter.

Over the years, fans have seen Lil Mo make a few reality television appearances on shows like R&B Divas: Los Angeles, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, and Love & Hip Hop New York. It looks like Mo is back in the studio because she recently released her latest single "Broken Heart," and she may be pulling from real-life circumstances as inspiration. Her tumultuous marriage with estranged husband Karl Dargan has been played out for a global audience, and on the track, Mo is trying to rebuild after a shattering breakup.

Shaq's ATL Krispy Kreme Set Ablaze By Arsonist, Police Offering $10K Reward: Report

Like many other retired sports stars, Shaquille O'Neal is the owner of multiple businesses. When he's not on television giving his NBA takes as a sports commentator or traveling the world attending parties as a DJ, Shaq acts as the owner of multiple franchises and eateries. In 2016, the Los Angeles Lakers icon reportedly purchased a Krispy Kreme donut shop in Atlant—and not just any store, but one that has its place in history. It's reported that in 1968 when thousands traveled to the ATL to mourn the death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. following his assassination, Krispy Kreme handed out cases of food to attendees.

Weeks ago, reports surfaced that Shaq's Krispy Kreme had gone up in flames, and following an investigation, it was concluded that an arsonist was the culprit. The blaze occurred on February 10 while two employees were inside and thankfully, they were able to flee to safety without injury. Surveillance footage shows the suspect lurking around the property and to help entice the public to help locate the person responsible, police have offered a $10K reward for information that would aid in identifying the person in the video.

"The fire that occurred at @krispykreme Doughnuts (295 Ponce de Leon) on February 10th, 2021 has been determined to be a result of ARSON," officials said. "We are seeking the public’s help in identifying & locating the suspect in these pictures."

Shaq isn't swayed by the setback and has vowed to rebuild "stronger than ever." Check out footage from the blaze above.

Lady Gaga Reunited With Dogs After Woman Turns Them Over To Police

Following a near-death encounter for her dogwalker Ryan Fischer, Lady Gaga has reportedly been reunited with her two stolen dogs. Days ago, Fischer was walking the animals in Hollywood when a car driving by stopped next to him. Several people jumped out and attempted to grab the pups, and when Fischer screamed for help and fought back, he was shot in the chest. Surveillance footage of the incident was released and showed the frightening incident in its entirety, ending in Fischer screaming for help as he bled out on the street before a resident nearby called the police for help.

We previously reported that Fischer is recovering well and has been moved out of the ICU, and in a post, Gaga called him her "hero" for defending her family. She also offered $500K to anyone who safely returned her dogs, and it reported that a woman may be a half-million dollars richer after visiting a police station with the pets.

According to CBS2 News in Los Angeles, a woman walked into the Downtown station with the animals and according to the Los Angeles Police Department, she is "uninvolved and unassociated" with the brazen shooting. However, the LAPD didn't reveal how she came to acquire the two dogs. Gaga is currently in Rome and her representative confirmed that the dogs were indeed the singers.

There wasn't any further information shared about the perpetrators at this time.

Lil Wayne Pardon Causes "QAnon Shaman" Jacob Chansley To Rethink Trump Support

Dozens of people are facing charges stemming from the insurrection at America's Capitol on January 6. It was an event watched 'round the world as hundreds of pro-Trump supporters left the former president's "Stop The Steal" rally in Washington, D.C., and stormed the building while Congress was in session. Representatives were quickly ushered to safety as they hid from rioters who took over their offices, stole items from their desks, trashed the Capitol, and according to reports, smeared feces in the hallways.

As federal authorities continue to locate and arrest participants, one of the event's most recognizable figures has reportedly issued a statement about his support of Donald Trump. Jacob Chansley, also known as the flag-toting "QAnon Shaman" who can only eat organic food while in jail, stated in court documents that after learning of Lil Wayne and other of Trump's "friends and colleagues" receiving pardons, he'd re-evaluated his loyalty to the president's cause.

"After the defendant noted former President Trump's pardoning of his friends and colleagues and Lil' Wayne, the defendant was compelled to reconcile his prior faith in former President Trump with the actions and words of President Trump." As Chansley awaits his fate, those who continue to believe in Trump's message stand firm on claims that he will be sworn in as the 19th president of the United States on March 4.
