Diddy Hands Out $50 Bills To Crowd, Pays Rent For Miami Families

As America waits on news of whether or not the U.S. government will give $600 handouts to qualified citizens, Diddy is taking matters into his own hands. The multi-millionaire was filmed on the streets of Miami with his Sean Combs Foundation entourage as he handed out $50 bills to the swarming crowd of hundreds of people. In the video, Diddy is seen maskless, yet wearing a face shield and gloves, and people lined up to receive money from the Bad Boy mogul.

The rap icon personally greeted everyone waiting in line, including children, and gave them cash, but he wasn't the only person handing out money. Members of his crew were also gifting people with $20 bills and it looked as if some went home with upwards of $100. Additionally, it's reported that Publix supermarket partnered with Diddy for the massive event and helped to give away gift cards hygiene products to those in need.

"Diddy's charitable foundation is also working with music festival and nightlife organizer Michael Gardner and the local group Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success to provide rental assistance for 175 families," reports NBC Miami. Press play below to watch Diddy and Co. giving back to the community during what has proven to be a difficult time for many.

Young Thug Explains Jay-Z Comments: "I Was Talking [Too] Fast"

Recent comments made by Young Thug has caused the rapper to come forward to clarify a few things. Yesterday (December 28), Thugger became a trending topic not because of his music, but due to his recent interview with the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast. There were many discussion-worthy moments made by Thug during the discourse, but his remarks about Jay-Z stole attention after he suggested that Hov didn't have 30 songs under his belt that an arena of fans would know word-for-word.

After being contradicted, Thug seemed to backtrack a bit and admitted that Jay-Z "probably got 50 of them b*tches," adding that he was speaking generally about rappers who may be successful but it doesn't resonate when they perform live. Still, the words had already exited his mouth and the internet was quick with the criticism. After 24 hours of taking hits from the public, Thugger posted a brief message to his Instagram Story regarding his comments.

"Don't have jay z on me cause of this internet sh*t," he wrote. "I was talking to fast but y'all know what I meant." Do you think Thugger's statement was misinterpreted?

Daryl Morey Fined $50K For Tampering Over James Harden Tweet: Report

His tweet was only up for a few minutes before he deleted it, but that didn't stop Philadelphia 76ers president Daryl Morey from getting hit was a massive fine. Back in October, Morey announced that he was leaving his position as general manager of the Houston Rockets after holding down the position since 2007, to become president of basketball operation with the 76ers. Morey is widely respected and was instrumental in getting James Harden to the Rockets, and some sports analysts have suggested that Harden, who is reportedly unhappy with Houston, should join Morey in Philly. 

This is where things get sticky. Days ago, a tweet popped up on Morey's social media that marked a record-breaking anniversary for Harden. The tweet looked to be sent from an automated app or website and it only existed on Twitter for minutes before it was promptly taken down. However, screenshots were shared and the image of the tweet was circulated leaving basketball fans to wonder if Morey tweeting about Harden was a hint that the Rockets star would be making his mover to the 76ers.

The NBA has strict rules and soon, Morey was cited for tampering and was issued a $50K fine. While it all seemed unintentional, the league wasn't having it. As far as Harden's future is concerned, we'll all have to wait for final decisions to be made. Check out a few tweets below.

Tyrese & Wife Samantha Announce They're Divorcing After 4 Years Of Marriage: Report

As news of his stolen—and then returned—Range Rover began to circulate, Tyrese Gibson shared on his Instagram that he and his wife, Samantha Gibson, have decided to end their marriage. Valentine's Day would have marked the couple's fourth wedding anniversary, but just two months shy of their celebratory day, both Tyrese and Samantha posted the same announcement about their breakup to their respective Instagram pages.

"After much thought, consideration, and prayer, We unfortunately have made the difficult decision to officially separate & divorce," the statement reads. "Our intention is to remain the best of friends & strong coparents. We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and deeply grateful for the 4 years we have been married to each other... We truly have so much love & respect for each other. We both have grown tremendously within this relationship; we have shared so many beautiful memories and moments, and we also look forward to see the amazing futures we have ahead of us individually."

Tyrese wasn't finished sharing his thoughts about his love for his wife and not only commented under her announcement, but made another post on his page with the same message. The way it reads, it seems that the actor is hoping that he and his wife can reconcile in the future.

"My heart is so full because you've blessed me with 5 years of magic.... Samantha Gibson, I owe you everything," Tyrese wrote. "I am a better man of God, friend, and father because of you... Yung Miami Jokingly Asks Fans If They're Ready For Her To Have Another Baby

Three months ago, Yung Miami and Southside announced that they'd called it quits. The rap couple had been together for some time and even welcomed their daughter, Summer, in October 2019. Their relationship may not have lasted, but unlike many of the other celebrity exes that we see unravel online, Yung Miami and Southside have refrained from speaking negatively about one another. As they politely co-parent, there have been sightings of Southside out on the town with another woman while the rapper often jokes about men with her City Girls co-star JT. Those quips continued on Tuesday (December 29) when Yung Miami suggested that she's ready to move on.

"Y’all ready for me to have another baby?" the rapper jokingly tweeted. The responses poured in, including one person who said the next time around, her fans should be in charge of choosing the father of her child. "Lmfaooooo," was all Yung Miami had to say about the suggestion.

Getting into another relationship may not come easy for the mother of two young children as she shared on Twitter that her kids may deter potential suitors. "You gone hear my kids in the background when you call me lol," she wrote. "Santana said I don’t have a man cause my kids always loud in my background." We're sure the QC rapper is doing just fine. "Lean On Me" Educator Joe Clark Has Passed Away At 82: Report

The inspiration behind a classic film has passed away. In 1989, Morgan Freeman starred in Lean on Me as the tough and often brash Joe Clark who turns the out-of-control Eastside High School on its head. It's one of Freeman's most memorable roles and was based on the real-life Joe Louis Clark who, over time, became a Paterson, New Jersey legend. Clark's contributions to the education system have been celebrated for decades, and it was announced on Tuesday (December 29) that the 82-year-old icon passed away.

Paterson Superintendent of Schools Eileen Shafer released this statement about the bullhorn-toting educator following the news of his passing:

"Joe Clark left his indelible mark on public education by being fiercely devoted to the students in his care. He demanded more from his students because he believed they could achieve more than what was expected of them. And with his bullhorn and baseball bat, and Joe Clark courageously stood in the way of anyone who dared to try to lure a young person down the wrong path. Joe Clark was even the subject of a Hollywood movie. But in the end, it is the many lives Joe Clark influenced for the better that have become his greatest legacy. Our hearts are deeply saddened by Joe Clark's passing, and our prayers are with his family and friends."

Pi'erre Bourne Claims Drake Will Make An Appearance On "TLOP5"

It's been over a year and a half since Pi'erre Bourne released his debut studio album The Life of Pi'erre 4, and fans are impatiently waiting for it's follow up. The 27-year-old teased fans about The Life of Pi'erre 5 with subtle hints and revelations about features on the record recently, and in Q&A with fans this week, Bourne revealed that the lead single from the album, "Playstation," would arrive sometime in January. Not only that, but the rapper also claimed that Drake would be making an appearance on his forthcoming record.

This comes as a surprise considering TLOP4 didn't host any features at all, but maybe he's switching things up this time around. While the Drake mention did get his fans excited, some believe that the Drizzy mention shouldn't be taken seriously. Bourne also seemed to reveal his album release timeline when he hashtagged the word "March" in a tweet about 2021. 

Bourne also told fans that "this sh*t sound crazy. I really figured out some sh*t," when it came to the sound of the album.
