MLB Star Yasiel Puig Sued For Alleged Sexual Assault At Lakers Game: Report

Former Los Angeles Dodgers star Yasiel Puig has been named in a lawsuit by a woman who claims the free agent sexually assaulted her. According to a report, the anonymous woman claimed that it was nearly two years ago on October 31, 2018, when she attended a Los Angeles Lakers game at the Staples Center in L.A. The City of Angels team was facing off against the Dallas Mavericks, and during the game, she said she went to the restroom with no intention of having sex with Puig. However, she stated that he followed her inside.

TMZ Sports reports that court documents state that the woman said "she was forced into a bathroom and Yasiel Puig grabbed at her trying to take her clothes off, touched her sexual organs during this struggle, and eventually pinned her with 1 arm and used his other to stroke his own penis, exposing himself, and eventually ejaculating."

She's suing him for "sexual battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and false imprisonment." It's unclear if the woman called the authorities after the incident or filed a police report. Her relationship with the baseball player, if there is one, prior to this alleged incident is also unknown. The exact amount in monetary damages that the alleged victim is seeking isn't specified in the lawsuit, but it's reportedly noted that it's in excess of $50K.

Puig's attorney told TMZ that the MLB star "categorically denies" the accusations against him.

Nelly Reveals He's "Working Toward" Engagement To Shantel Jackson

Wedding bells could be in the future for Nelly and girlfriend Shantel Jackson. The rapper and his longtime leading lady have been going strong since 2014, and according to Nelly, it might be time for the couple to jump the broom. He's been showing off his moves on Dancing With The Stars, and in a video package for the competition series, Nelly fawned over Shantel and spoke of his love for her.

"I would not want my life to not have Shantel in it," said Nelly. "We've been seeing each other for five or six years. Any time you can connect with somebody like that, it works out for the long run. She's sweet, beautiful, and the more we got to know each other, she's just as beautiful inside."

"We have so much in common," he added. "She grew up in the inner city, she knows what it’s like to go through certain things in life when you grow up in the inner city... She's very driven, very passionate about the things she does and she doesn't accept anything but wanting to be better. And that's what I love. That's exactly what I love."

The rapper was asked if an engagement was in the near future, but he played it coy with his answer. "We're working towards it," he said, adding "When we know, I'll tell you." Check out a few photos of the happy couple below.

50 Cent Reacts To Lil Wayne's Photo Op With President Trump: "Oh No"

He's made controversial political statements in the past, so some Lil Wayne fans weren't surprised to see that the rapper seemingly endorsed President Donald Trump in a tweet. Today (October 29), Weezy shared a photo of himself with Trump along with a message that stated he spoke personally with the President about his plans for the next four years in office, should he win reelection. "Just had a great meeting with
@realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership," the rapper wrote. "He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done."

The photo op has captured the attention of the world and has elicited a global response on social media. Even 50 Cent had to chime in as he shared the image to his Instagram page. "Oh no [eyes emoji] WAYNE [faceplm emoji], I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOOK THIS PICTURE," penned Fif in the caption. If there is someone who knows the wrath of the political backlash it's 50 Cent who recently made headlines for endorsing President Trump.

Lil Wayne has made comments in the past that have given his fans pause, including saying that there's "no such thing as racism." In another interview Wayne previously conducted, he was asked by the host to share his thoughts on Black Lives Matter. "I am a young, black, rich motherf*cker," the rapper said at the time. "If that don’t let you know that America understand black motherf*ckers matter these days, I don’t know what it is. Don’t come at me with that dumb sh*t, ma’am. My life matter, especially to my b*tches."

Family Of Walter Wallace Jr. Called For Ambulance, Not Police: Report

Things have slightly subsided in Philadelphia following the police-involved shooting of Walter Wallace Jr. The mentally ill 27-year-old was wielding a knife when he was shot multiple times by Philadephia police officers in the street as his mother shouted for them not to hurt her son. Wallace's death has been a polarizing topic on social media as people have stated that the shooting was justified because Wallace was armed with a knife, while others don't believe that he posed a real threat to the two officers on the scene.

The family of Walter Wallace Jr. is speaking out about the tragic incident, and according to a report made by NBC Philadelphia, Wallace's brother called for an ambulance to come to the scene to "help with a mental health crisis, not for police intervention." Instead, police responded. Wallace's mother, Cathy Brant, told reporters that on one occasion, "they stood there and laughed at us."

"I don’t want my son to have died in vain like he wasn’t nothing, like he didn’t come from a good family,” said Walter Wallace Sr. Shaka Johnson, the family's attorney added, “When you come to a scene where somebody is in a mental crisis, and the only tool you have to deal with it is a gun ... where are the proper tools for the job?”

Walter Wallace Jr.'s wife is pregnant and scheduled to give birth this week. It's reported that he has nine children.

Moniece Slaughter Says Shaq Dumped Her Because 'He Doesn't Like To Be Questioned'

In an interview with Domenick Nati on The Domenick Nati Radio Show, Moniece Slaughter shed some light on her past involvement with Shaq, and why their relationship didn’t pan out. The pair dated briefly from 2011 to 2012, but their relationship was tainted by suspected infidelity on Shaq’s part. Slaughter said that when the swirling internet rumors prompted her to voice her concerns to Shaq in an attempt to work things out, it only aggravated him. She told Nati, “he broke it off with me because I was asking too many questions. He doesn’t want to be questioned. He does not like to be cornered. And I’m the type where I’m like, ‘I don’t give a f*ck who you are. If I’m concerned, I’m going to voice this concern, you’re going to answer it”

Slaughter, who has dated many celebrities, including Ray J and her baby daddy Lil Fizz, went on to confirm that the two are indeed still on good terms, with the former NBA player having most recently reached out this past May, to wish her a happy Mother’s Day.

Slaughter also noted that the two are better off as friends, and it’s all love between them. The same unfortunately can’t be said for her explosive relationship with the father of her child, Lil Fizz, which has made headlines several times recently. Over the past several months, Slaughter has claimed Fizz isn’t allowed around Omarion and Apryl Jones’ kids, threatened to sue him for a 2015 music video, and broken up and gotten back together about a dozen times

T.I. Called Out By Victims Of Umi Restaurant Incident For Not Speaking With Them

Kaylan Colbert and her husband, William Johnson, are at the center of a controversy stemming from an incident that occurred at a restaurant in Atlanta. We previously reported on the story about the couple and how management at Umi restaurant in Atlanta asked for William to leave because he was wearing sneakers—Air Force 1s, to be specific—when it stated that those shoes were against dress code. Things began to heat up during the confrontation when it was pointed out that a White woman at the bar was wearing sneakers but she wasn't being asked to leave. T.I. caught wind of the controversy and ushered in a potential boycott, but Johnson has a few words for the rapper now that T.I. reportedly received an apology from the owner and accepted on behalf of those involved.

T.I. shared a video of himself meeting with the owners of Umi, but that didn't sit well with the people involved in the incident. "Tip, you didn't reach out to us at all and you spoke on our behalf," he said. "You didn't go to the issue. He never apologized on your video. All he spoke of was his connections and what he could do for his business. It wasn't about what's going on with us, how I feel, how I feel threatened, how he actually treats people from our community." Johnson went on to say that the owners of the restaurant have personal relationships with politicians and rappers in the city, and he believes that's why T.I. didn't reach out to his family.

Johnson added that he was "disappointed" and "hurt" but T.I.'s actions because the rapper was someone he admired. He also said that he's surprised that Killer Mike hasn't said anything, either. City councilmen have reportedly reached out, but Johnson wanted to know, "Where is the love with your own people first instead of trying to save face with someone who has clout in this city?"
