Tech N9ne Shows Grief Following The Sudden Death Of CES Cru Producer Info Gates

These have definitely been some sad times lately as we all mourn the loss of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and the eight others that died in the helicopter crash with him, one in particular being his 13-year-old daughter Gianna as well. For rapper Tech N9ne, the timing is unfortunately coinciding with a personal loss of his own: the sudden death of his CES Cru homie Justin "Info Gates" Gillespie.

While the loss of Info Gates is without a doubt hard on the entire Strange Music fam, it seems to be particularly difficult for Tech to take in specifically. "I just can't right now!" he wrote with what we're sure was a mixed feeling of exasperation and grief, following up by writing, "Our family love circle just got a helluva lot shorter with THIS loss!" He goes on to honor Gates by his many monikers, including "The nucleus of the Killa City Committee" and "The glue for the Cru," referencing the Kansas City-bred rap collective that debuted in 2004. The most touching part though is his words that question what will become of the kids in Justin's Plaza Academy hip hop class, also known as "Beat Academy of Kansas City," that teaches hip hop production to over 30 students. 

Details on what exactly caused the death of Info Gates are still unclear, but we send condolences to his family and all those he touched in his short-yet-impactful time while living. Westside Gunn & Conway Post Up With Tyler The Creator

Westside Gunn might very well be the most connected man in hip-hop. The Griselda icon has crossed paths with everyone from Jay-Z to J. Cole, Eminem to A$AP Rocky. Despite a relatively brief tenure in the game, Gunn and his rhyming partners Conway The Machine and Benny The Butcher have asserted themselves as cultural innovators. True movers and shakes. It's no wonder they have become lightning rods for A-list company. Most recently, Gunn and Conway found themselves connecting with recent Grammy winner Tyler, The Creator.

"Fresh from winning that Grammy “Best Rap Album” I hit the homie to congratulate him and he was in the studio making me a beat," writes Gunn, alongside the stacked picture. "Nothing but respect for The Homie @feliciathegoat he came and fucked wit me and got some of these “Pray for Paris” vibes this is what the culture looks like."

We can only hope that Westside produced by Tyler ultimately manifests into a reality, as it's always nice to see the Odd Future pioneer reconnecting with his grimier musical roots. 50 Cent Confirms Michael Blackson Finally Paid Off Debt At Walk Of Fame Ceremony

50 Cent is a scary man to owe money to. Back in August, Michael Blackson made the mistake of borrowing money from Fifty to fund their strip club escapades and woke up with threats looming over his head. For weeks, the debt drama unfolded on social media, as Fifty tried to recover his money and Blackson tried to dodge Fifty's henchmen. 

It appears the comedian no longer has to live in fear because Fifty just confirmed that the debt has been settled. Today, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Blackson attended the ceremony, rocking a neon pink suit with no shirt underneath. While he may have partially been there to celebrate Fifty's achievement, he also took the opportunity to pay off his long-standing debt. Photos show Blackson waving hundred-dollar bills in the air, proving that there's no longer any reason for him to be targeted by Fif or his goons. 

Fifty posted photos of him and Blackson having a laugh-filled moment of reconciliation. "me and @michaelblackson chilling he finally gave me my Money Back. Now we all Good for Tycoon in Dallas it lit," he wrote in the caption, referring to his upcoming pool party that Blackson is now welcome to attend.

Polo G Shows Off His "Legend" Baby Boy With A Proud Dad Moment On IG

Sometimes we just have to highlight the cute shit rappers do on the 'Gram, and it doesn't get any more "awww" inducing quite like showing off babies. For Chicago-bred rapper Polo G, he decided to flex a "proud dad" moment yesterday by posing for a flick with his newborn pickney Tremani Legend Bartlett.

Affectionally nicknamed "Baby Cap," a play off the Die A Legend rapper's own IG name, young Tremani is the spitting image of his superstar pops in this beautiful moment captured of the two. "Love u wit all my heart ain’t no probaly [sic]," Polo G captioned the post with (seen above), giving all 2.8 million of his followers a look at the one who'll be carrying on his legacy. As many people across the world are hugging their kids a little tighter following the tragic death of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, it's definitely a heartwarming sight to see a guy like Polo showing affection so openly and lovingly for his kid. While we've seen the movement go viral with the #GirlDad hashtag in honor of Kobe's love for his all-daughter family, let's hope dads of all kids can share their moments like Polo does here. Madden NFL x Nike Air Max 90 Sneaker Collab Revealed

At the 2019 Super Bowl, Madden NFL teamed with Nike to release a limited edition Nike VaporMax that fans won through a series of limited time challenges in Madden NFL 19. The two sides have joined forces again for Super Bowl LIV, this time collaborating on a special edition Nike Air Max 90.

The Madden NFL 20 x Nike Air Max 90s come equipped with a pristine, white leather and mesh upper accompanied by red and blue details representing the EA Sports logo and the NFL shield. Additional details include custom pull tabs on the tongue and heel, a lace guard and a trio of laces featuring the EA Sports tagline, "It's In The Game." Lil Yachty Gets Irritated By Kids Touching His Maybach: Watch

It must be annoying to be a celebrity and have strangers rush your car. It must a whole other level of annoying to have these strangers scuff up your clean car with their fingerprints. In that sense, some may be able to sympathize with Lil Yachty's recent plight documented in his IG Story. 

The Atlanta rapper was trying to preview an unreleased song of his that features Trippie Redd when young fans popped up at his window. While Lil Boat refused to roll down his window, he ended up bickering with the kids for a bit. One of them appeared to be asking him for money to buy water, which Yachty jokingly gave him a hard time about. After a brief interrogation, Yachty conceded to donate some cash. "I'll support y'all, so next time I see you, I want you to have some water," he said.

However, once he reaches for the money, more nagging youngins start gathering around his luxury vehicle. Yachty puts his foot down. "There's too many of y'all... Hell nah, get your fingers off my Maybach, man," he admonishes. He informs them that he's driving a quarter-million dollar car before driving away from the ambush. Was Yachty too harsh on the kids? 

In other news, Lil Yachty, Lil Keed and Lil Gotit are all joining forces to release a collaborative tape on Friday, produced by Zaytoven and titled A-Team.

Offset Detained By Officers At L.A. Shopping Center After Call Came In About Firearm

The swanky The Grove L.A. shopping center is a play area for the rich and famous. At any time of the day, its high-end, luxury stores will have a recognizable celebrity casually floating around, and while most of the time they go undisturbed in the Los Angeles entertainment complex, Offset found himself being confronted by police.

In a developing story reported by TMZ, the officers were reportedly alerted around 8:00 p.m. with a call about a person in The Grove's parking structure. The caller suggested that someone had a firearm and when police responded, the person with the gun had already fled the scene. 

However, Offset and members of his entourage were stopped, questioned, searched, and detained by officers. In a clip shared by TMZ, viewers can see the Migos rapper along with members of his entourage standing handcuffed. Offset is seen being defiant with one officer who shoves him against the wall. "Tell me now!" Offset repeatedly yells and he demands the officer to let him know why they were specifically targeted.

TMZ further reports that Offset is "currently being held near the security station of The Grove." The outlet is unclear whether or not the rapper or anyone with him had a firearm. The video doesn't show that Cardi B was at the scene. Watch the clip below.
