Wendy Williams Allegedly Refuses To Take A Pic With Angela Yee & Miss Jones

Wendy Williams has become synonymously known as The Queen of Gossip. Before switching to television, the media personality spent a great deal of time as a well-regarded on-air personality in New York City radio. In her position, she often became involved in minor on-air spats with celebrities, partially propelling her into stardom.

She allegedly created some tension earlier this month at a comedy club by refusing to snap a picture with fellow NYC queens of radio Angela Yee and Miss Jones. A source revealed to Page Six that The Wendy Williams Show host dropped by Caroline's Comedy Club in May with Miss Jones, and by coincidence, Yee was also at the Times Square venue.

Considering the rare occurrence of all three NYC radio legends being together in the same space, both the Breakfast Club co-host and Miss Jones wanted to document the moment with a photo. The source explains that Miss Jones asked comic Donnell Rawlin to take a photo of the trio.

"Come on, Donnell. I want to take a picture with the ladies of radio," Miss Jones allegedly said to the comedian. Wendy seemed less interested than the other two women and allegedly refused to leave her seat to get in the photo.

The insider then explained to Page Six that a crowd member yelled, "Wendy, get up and go onstage to take the picture." The person continued, "What's her problem? Why wouldn't she get up?" Another person said, "If pity was a person." Angela and Jones then proceeded to snap a photo without Wendy.

This was the first time the comedy club was open since its doors were shut due to COVID. "This is the first night in 15 months that we are open," owner Caroline Hirsch explained to Page Six. "It's been a fabulous time... and the weekends are going to be even more marvelous."

JAY-Z Reveals His Mother Was Originally "Defensive" About "Smile"

JAY-Z's catalog is lined with classics, with Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, The Black Album, and American Gangster being widely regarded as such. Yet with every passing year, his latest album 4:44, released in 2017 and largely centered around themes of infidelity and family, is steadily inching closer to classic status.

Case in point, Hov's recent admission to LeBron James during a conversation of The Shop, where he revealed that "super gangsta rappers" thanked him for saving their relationships with the album. Not every project is capable of sparking such a powerful shift in perspective. It's a testament to Hov's penmanship (or lack thereof, to be fair), and 4:44 remains the most vulnerable and honest body of work he's released thus far.

During his talk with LeBron, JAY happened to share an interesting bit of insight about one of the album's highlight tracks, "Smile." Aside from featuring some of his slickest bars on the album -- "My therapist said I relapsed / I said, "Pre-haps" / I Freudian slipped in European whips" -- it also features a reflection on his mother Gloria Carter's sexuality:

"Mama had four kids, but she's a lesbian
Had to pretend so long that she's a thespian
Had to hide in the closet, so she medicate
Society shame and the pain was too much to take
Cried tears of joy when you fell in love
Don't matter to me if it's a him or her"

While certainly a powerful section, Hov admits that his mother was initially defensive upon hearing it. "It changed the dynamic of our relationship," admits Hov. "When she first heard that song she got super defensive. She was like, absolutely not. What happened was, I was in L.A. She flew out to L.A, then she left and was like, 'No.' We talked through it and then, when she flew back to L.A., she had written a poem. She wrote that on the plane. It came with the American Airlines, like a little notepad. I was like, 'You got bars, ma.' Gloria got bars."

The poem was later included in the "Smile" outro, performed by Gloria Carter -- fun fact, Jay's mother also contributed vocals to "December 4th" on The Black Album, another of Hov's most personal tracks. Check out his reflections on "Smile" below.

Yo Gotti Gifts Moneybagg Yo A $250k Richard Mille To Celebrate Chart Success

Moneybagg Yo welcomed his fourth studio album A Gangsta's Pain back in April with appearances from Future, Polo G, Lil Durk, Jhené Aiko, and more. Proving to be an instant success for the Memphis rapper, the album became the emcee's first Billboard No.1 album. Dropping to the second spot in its second week, the project returned to the summit during its third week on the chart.

Propelled by the viral success of the album-cut "Wockesha," the CMG signee surely has a lot to celebrate these days. Swimming in a pool filled with $100 bills just earlier this month, CMG label founder Yo Gotti also came through with a remarkable gift as an ode to his chart accomplishment--to the tune of $250k.

"Gotta celebrate success shoutout to Bagg No.1 on Billboard," said Gotti as he showed off Bagg's plaque for A Gangsta's Pain.

"Plaque, Richard, Richard, Plaque," he continues, panning between the two. "Yessir," says Moneybagg, smiling wide as he flexed his brand new Richard Mille to the camera.

Gotti is known to be a lavish gift giver and a big spender. Back in March, he hosted a massive brunch All-Star Weekend to celebrate his label's growing success. Last week, he flexed what appeared to be a cave behind his home. Check out the footage of the impressive amenity below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Remember having mask on way before corona hit
Told 30 not to cross the plug, he went behind me, set the pick
I play like a beast but my demeanor humble (Don't make me turn up)
Go so hard, they got to retire my number (Big 12)

Cam'ron's Ex, Juju Castaneda, May Have Gotten Married In Vegas

If social media posts are to be believed, Juju Castaneda may have just gotten married in Las Vegas. Everyone is back outside now that vaccines are plentiful and mandates have been dropped, and Juju and a few of her friends were lit in Las Vegas. The Love & Hip Hop star is well known for her relationship with Dipset's Cam'ron, as the two were together for nine years. For the last four years of the romance, Juju and Cam'ron were engaged.

On Monday (May 31), videos were shared online showing Juju being escorted down the aisle with her beau, and by the looks of their attire, they may have decided on this at the last minute.

Some people are already saying that it's all for show and the couple seemed intoxicated during the chapel ceremony, but despite the ambiance, they looked happily in love. Juju and her man, known as CEO22Wayz on Instagram, embraced one another and lavished each other in kisses as their friends are heard off-camera screaming with joy.

While on Love & Hip Hop, Juju went on a journey of being with Cam'ron, dealing with their breakup, and considering dating once again after the dust settled on their split. She has been fiercely private about her personal life so this wedding display came as a surprise to the public. Check out a few clips of the wedding below and let us know if you think this is the real deal.

Logic & Madlib Return as MadGic On "Mafia Music"

That MadGic album is finished, according to Logic, and it was completed in just one day. Madlib and Logic have linked up to form MadGic, a collaborative effort that has dragged the rapper out of retirement. Fans wished him farewell after he announced that he would be bowing out of the Rap game following No Pressure, but Logic later stated that if there was someone who could beckon him back to the mic, it would be Madlib.

We received the first MadGic track at the end of April in the form of their single "Mars Only Pt. 3," and just 10 days ago, they delivered their second offering, "Raddest Dad." We're in the thick of the MadGic rollout season because the Hip Hop duo is back once again, this time with "Mafia Music," a track that takes listeners on a three-part journey as Madlib delivers an impressive production once again. It sounds as if Logic is freestyling through this one and fans are already praising both artists.

Stream MadGic's "Mafia Music" and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

F*ck the bullsh*t, we out here getting money and more sh*t
I used to steal from Target and so did GameStop
Leave you like Leo in Departed, you better f*ckin' stop
Mafia music, I live the life, I don't choose it
No I could never abuse it
It chose me, I don't refuse it
Retired but I'm rapping every day, I can't lose it
