Tamar Braxton Hit With Cease & Desist From Ex Over Cheating Allegations: Report

Their relationship imploded in real-time for the world to see, but there are some fans who hope that Tamar Braxton and David Adefeso somehow return to one another. Last summer, Tamar was hospitalized following a suicide attempt, and not long after he released, she and her fiancé Adefeso made headlines over an alleged physical altercation. He accused her of domestic violence and she denied his allegations, and soon, the couple put their relationship behind them.

Recently, Tamar tweeted that she would one day meet the man for her, and a fan told Braxton that they wanted to see her back with Adefeso. "Maybe God can fix that," the person wrote. The reality star replied, "He was cheating with his then assistant now cfo since 2019 Jessica [upset side-eye emoji].. God fixed it."

Adefeso didn't appreciate his ex-fiancée publicly accusing him of having an affair, and according to TMZ, he got his attorneys to write up a formal cease and desist letter. Adefeso denies that he cheated with his former assistant and claimed he never stepped out on Braxton. He accused her of "[damaging] his reputation" and wants Braxton to delete her tweet. However, it's still up and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

The end of their relationship was volatile as Adefeso filed for a restraining order against his ex but that was dismissed earlier this month. He has accused the singer of assaulting and threatening to kill him. Tamar denied that she was violent with Adedfeso.

Four Dead, Including A Child, In Southern California Shooting: Report

Another tragedy reportedly involving a mass shooting has occurred in California. As America has poised itself for reopening as vaccines become more readily available, the United States has been plagued with an increasing amount of violence. Within the last two weeks, we've experienced the Atlanta spa shootings, the Colorado supermarket shooting, three shooting incidents in one evening near the same location in Virginia Beach, and learned of several injuries in a mass shooting in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday (March 31), reports state that another shooting took place in the city of Orange at a business complex. The investigation is obviously ongoing, but it's reported that officers descended on the scene after receiving a call about gunfire. The incident was still in motion when officers arrived and a witness who lived in an apartment complex nearby told KTLA News that he heard "seven to ten gunshots within a couple seconds."

An officer opened fire on the gunman, striking the person, and it's reported that they are in critical condition. Four people were murdered during the tragic incident, including a child. The age of the youngest victim has not yet been shared. A woman was rushed to the hospital and is stated to be in critical condition.

A witness named Cody Lev claimed that he was at his home near the location when he heard shots, but he stated he "heard a series of gunshots, spaced out by about 40 minutes, before police responded." The identity of the shooter has not been revealed at the time of this publication. It is also unclear if this is a random mass shooting or if the perpetrator knew his victims.

Kevin Durant Apologizes To Michael Rapaport: "We Been Talking Like This For Years"

If we were to believe Michael Rapaport's screenshot revelation at face value, one would think that Kevin Durant is unhinged. An argument that looks to have started back in December reared its ugly head this week after Rapaport uploaded screenshots of a DM conversation with the NBA star. In it, Durant was upset that Rapaport continued to criticize him publicly, and then, Durant seemed to taunt him over a lawsuit. Insults were slung from Durant as he called for the actor to meet up with him face-to-face, but according to Durant, this is normal for the relationship he has with Rapaport.

A Twitter user wrote that Rapaport was scared of Durant and that's why he decided to go public with their private conversation. "Me and mike talk CRAZIER than this on the regular and today he’s pissed....My bad mike, damn!!" Durant replied. The baller even slid in Rapaport's comments. "I WOULD NEVER FIGHT MIKE... THE PORTNOY THING WAS TOO FAR I SEE.....my bad I apologize."

In a separate comment on the same post, Durant added, "Wow u acting brand new now?? We been talking like this for years and u get serious today. Wowww. Smhhh." Meanwhile, since calling out his former friend, Rapaport has dedicated his Instagram page to the Brooklyn Nets star. The actor posted a video clip of him and Durant during happier times and in the caption, he added, "A long time ago we used to be friends @easymoneysniper but you let your insecurities ruin it all @deancollins."

Chet Hanks's Ex Granted Temporary Protective Order Against Him: Report

His antics have often caused him to trend on social media, but Wednesday's (March 31) viral video caught the public off guard. Tom Hanks's son Chet Hanks is known for dropping island accents and declaring we're entering a "White Boy Summer," but his personal life hasn't been so carefree. We previously reported on Hanks and his ex-girlfriend Kiana Parker engaging in a physical altercation months ago. A video that was allegedly taken after the argument was shared online and in it, Hanks accuses his ex of attacking him with a knife as she denies the claim, even going so far as to ask someone off-camera if that was what occurred. The person agreed with her.

More information has been shared about the fallout from their breakup, and The Huffington Post reports Parker was granted a temporary protective order against the 30-year-old actor. Court documents reportedly show that Parker accused Hanks of being "physically and verbally abusive for months." The two began dating sometime last year and were cohabitating.

PEOPLE reports that earlier this month, Hanks filed a lawsuit against Parker and alleged that she attacked and stole from him "in connection with a violent incident on Jan. 8." Hanks claims that he ended their relationship after he confronted Parker about the alleged theft. Parker, in turn, said in court documents that the alleged abuse she endured began as early as October 2020. 

Parker stated that in January she decided to end her relationship with Hanks and went to their home to move her things out. She accuses her ex of attempting to attack her with a knife so she hit him with a pot and ran off before calling the authorities. However, she said he left before they responded to the scene. Hanks told a different story; he said she arrived at the home with three men, one armed with a firearm, and Parker attacked him with a knife before hitting him with the pot.

Romeo Miller Recalls Black Cop Pointing Gun At Him Because He Thought Car Was Stolen

The Derek Chauvin trial is in full swing and it has not only reignited conversations about the death of George Floyd but police brutality, in general. In the first days of Chauvin's trial, witnesses have taken the stand to testify to what they saw occur and some broke down recounting Floyd's final moments as they begged Chauvin to stop kneeling on his neck. The public has taken to social media to share their stories of run-ins with law enforcement, and on a recent episode of The Mix, Romeo Miller told his tale.

"The most recent time, I was at UCLA," said Miller. "UCLA, you get pulled over over there, you better have that camera recording 'cause they don't play no games. But the guy pulled me over at gunpoint. Black cop. And he was like, is this a stolen vehicle. I'm like, bro, relax. Just come check out my registration and get my driver's license."

Romeo claims the cop repeated himself and asked if the car was stolen. "And then, when he saw it was me, [he said], 'Oh, Romeo Miller. Oh, you good. I thought you was just some random Black dude." His co-hosts were in disbelief. "The scary thing for me is, it's scary because my brother—I don't care, you don't have to be no random Black dude. My brothers ain't famous. They bigger than me. They six-four, six-five."

A podcast interview has ruffled feathers. Last week, OJ Da Juiceman sat down with Big Facts Podcast and said that he never received compensation for his 2009 debut studio album, The Otha Side of the Trap. The rapper was working with Mizay Entertainment at the time led by Deb Antney, and according to OJ, he claimed he was given a raw deal by his label. His side of the story is that he was given the option to get out of his contract as long as he signed over "everything from The Otha Side of the Trap for your life and ten years after your life." Due to the controversy, OJ said he decided to part ways with Mizay Entertainment.

Antney's son, Waka Flocka, didn't appreciate Da Juiceman including his mother in that conversation. "I never do this. This lame what I'm finna do," Waka started off in a video clip. "Bruh, you lame as f*ck... Talkin' 'bout n*ggas stole from you. P*ssy ass n*gga. You know who stole from you, you lame ass n*gga. Stop puttin' that sh*t on my mama,n*gga. Yes, I'm gon' say this."

Elsewhere, Waka mocked Juiceman further. "Grown men on the internet crying about who stole from them," said Flocka. "Y'all n*ggas is lame as f*ck." OJ Da Juiceman responded to Waka's insults with a few expletives of his own. "D*ck in the booty ass n*gga you a whole ho, p*ssy ass n*gga," said OJ. "You ain't on no gangsta sh*t. N*gga, I ain't neva seen you do nothin'. Gangsta p*ssy ass n*gga... You and yo' weak ass mama. F*ck both of y'all."

Naomi marveled over Paris's maturity and the singer replied that her experiences aided in her worldview, however, it wasn't always fun-loving and jet-setting. NBA YoungBoy Accused Of "Skipping Out" On Mandated Drug Testing: Report

On the heels of the news that the Baton Rouge Police Department was at the center of a corruption scandal, more has been shared about NBA YoungBoy's case. The 21-year-old star remains in federal custody after being arrested in Los Angeles last week. It's reported that his most recent run-in with the law is tied to his September 2020 arrest where he and 16 others were taken into custody on drug and firearm charges. YoungBoy's attorney maintains that his client wasn't in the possession of weapons at the time of the 2020 arrest, but prosecutors are determined to build a case.

It has also been reported today (March 31) by WAFB 9 News that YoungBoy violated his bond conditions when he "skipped out" on his mandatory drug testing. His other conditions that he had to abide by were "daily curfew calls, random drug screenings, and monthly office visits." The outlet states that authorities told a judge that everything started out well but YoungBoy eventually began to slack.

The last appointment the rapper had was reportedly in January but documents state that he didn't show up for his drug test. It's said that he missed his appointment because he was receiving dental work, possibly his new veneers, but he hasn't rescheduled.  YoungBoy is set to return to court in April and it's reported that his attorney will ask for the bond conditions to be removed, but if YoungBoy hasn't been complying, it could spell more trouble.

AR-Ab Associate Dark Lo Pleads Guilty To Witness Intimidation: Report

The case involving the Original Block Hustlaz label and AR-Ab, real name Abdul Ibrahim West, continues to take twists and turns. It was back in 2018 when Philadelphia prosecutors came down on the label for its alleged involvement in a drug operation. Rapper Charles "Dark Lo" Salley released a song titled "Allegations" following AR-Ab's arrest where he spun lyrics about "a rat" who he claims cooperated with authorities to take down his friend. According to The Philadelphia Enquirer, Dark Lo rapped that the mystery person responsible would be found and shot.

There was, indeed, a government witness named Dontez “Taz” Stewart who was arrested with the group, and after his identity was revealed, it's reported that "Allegations" was the first in a series of threats Dark Lo allegedly made against him. “His lyrics promote gun violence and his music videos depict images of drug dealing and weapons possession,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Justin Ashenfelter wrote in court documents back in 2019. “Plainly, he is a danger to the community and he enjoys that image, using it as a platform to sell his music.”

As the story goes, Stewart received a letter from an alias of Dark Lo's where Stweart is referred to as "Stuart Little," a reference to the mouse character. Prosecutors claimed that the letter included multiple threats against Stewart and his family if he testifies, including threats of sexually assaulting Stewart's wife and stabbing him in prison.

In an interview in 2019, Salley allegedly told authorities that he didn't see his letter as a threat because he knew Stewart personally. He suggested that it was a threat only if it was sent to a stranger, but because Stewart was "under" him, he "felt as though I could say that to him."

Earlier this week, Dark Lo reportedly took a deal with the prosecution and the 39-year-old rapper "pleaded guilty to one count of witness intimidation." He faces upwards of nine years in prison while AR-Ab is still awaiting sentencing after being convicted in 2019. It's reported that he's facing decades behind bars.

Viewers of the Facebook Watch series tune in to listen to Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow, and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris banter about pop culture topics, and this week, actress Niecy Nash paid them a visit. Bobby Shmurda Hasn't Released First Day Out Track Due To Label Issues: Report

He's enjoying his first months as a free man, but fans are still waiting on Bobby Shmurda's "First Day Out" release. It's a customary tradition in Hip Hop and tracks often arrive with a week or two of someone being released from custody, however, Shmurda's camp has been silent. The "Hot N*gga" rapper was granted parole last month and immediately was swept back into the Rap scene and according to Two Bees TV, Shmurda is dealing with label issues.

According to the report, Bobby Shmurda is signed to Epic Records and was slated to have released his debut project before going off to prison six years ago. However, Roc Nation allegedly wants Shmurda on their team, but before he can switch label lanes, it was suggested that he may need to fulfill his prior obligation. Shmurda, Epic, nor Roc Nation has confirmed or denied the report.

Two Bees also states that when they spoke with Shmurda back in 2016 while he was still incarcerated, the rapper revealed that his ace Rowdy Rebel was dropped from Epic after releasing their "Computers" collaboration. It's unclear if Shmurda is looking to lock down Roc Nation management or jump Epic's ship altogether, but Jay-Z and Co. are not messing around when it comes to stacking their roster.

The song is an infectious, upbeat bop that arrived just in time for the spring but it's the music video that raised hell, literally. Right-wing pundits and conservative talking heads were furious to see Lil Nas X slide down a pole into the depth of hell only to give Satan a lapdance, snapped his neck, then took his horns.

The entire rollout for this song and video is seemingly as effective as one would expect. Despite the blowback from the visuals, it seems like many have had the song on steady rotation over the past few days, especially as chart data predicts its debut on the Billboard Hot 100. It looks like Lil Nas X could score his second #1 hit record on the charts.

Fans who've been streaming the record could earn themselves a personal gift from Lil Nas X. The rapper took to Twitter to encourage his followers to keep supporting the song, writing, "if call me by your name goes number 1 i’m buying all my followers a 12 pack of hanes socks."

With the success of his latest single, it looks like we should expect his debut album to arrive later this year.

Summer Walker Looks For A Career Change: "I Legit Hate This Job"

Fans often want to know all details of a celebrity's personal life, but not everyone wants to share. Summer Walker is known in the industry as a reserved person and she's previously told the public that she has social anxiety, but still, people steadily demand that she opens up to them. The singer has made it clear that her life is her business and she doubled down on that sentiment on Wednesday (March 31).

The new mom decided to close out the month of March with an announcement on her Instagram Story. "I legit hate this job," she penned. "Lol why can't I just put out music w out stalkers being obsessed with my private life. I need to start figuring out my next job." She didn't specify what career she'd tackle outside of performing, but considering she announced the launch of Ghetto Earth Records, an imprint of Interscope, back in December, Summer Walker has been making business moves behind the scenes.

Recently, Walker and producer London On Da Track welcomed their first child together, a daughter. Fans have asked for Walker to post photos of her newborn, but the singer said she doesn't intend on sharing images of her child online.

After making upwards of $35 million from endorsement deals alone in 2020, Travis Scott continues to prove his business savvy one year later with the hyped release of his new spiked seltzer brand, CACTI. Travis' 21+ beverage hit stores on March 15, and in the weeks since CACTI's release, the spiked seltzer has caused its fair share of pandemonium. For the launch, a Travis Scott visit prompted utter chaos at a Los Angeles supermarket, and beyond the city of angels, CACTI has reportedly been selling out at a record pace across the entire United States. Now, TMZ reports that Travis Scott's new drink is steadily climbing the ranks of spiked seltzers. 

According to TMZ, CACTI has elbowed its way into the top 5 seltzer category, with sales volume reportedly overtaking the market share of seltzers from VIZZY, Coors, and other alcoholic seltzer competitors. The Utopia artist also touched base with the outlet, saying, "The reaction to the product has the team and I motivated to go even harder as we plan out what’s next for the brand. We are just getting started."

CACTI's commercial performance is nothing to scoff at, and having experienced so much early success, it will be interesting to see what direction Travis Scott's spiked seltzer goes in next.

Nipsey Hussle Died Two Years Ago Today

Nipsey Hussle was killed in a fatal shooting two years ago to this day. He had only recently released his debut studio album Victory Lap the year prior, a project that featured guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, YG, Buddy, Cee-Lo Green, The-Dream, and more. Following his untimely death, many of his fellow rappers took to social media to mourn the west coast visionary, using the phrase "The Marathon Continues" as a rallying cry of sorts.

Though time has indeed passed since the game lost Nip, his memory endures. Questions of what might have been still linger, as Nipsey appeared to be only getting started with Victory Lap. A little over one month before he died, Nipsey Hussle teamed up with Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy for "Racks In The Middle," a single that ultimately went on to secure a pair of Grammy nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. It's evident that he was picking up momentum and who knows where the success of his newer musical endeavors may have taken him.

Given how inspiring a figure he remains even in death, it's easy to imagine that Nip might have eased into a mentorship role, continuing to aid younger artists like Roddy Ricch. He likely would have spent further time expanding and developing his All Money In No Money Out label roster, while furthering the opportunities for young entrepreneurs in his community. 

On what must be a truly difficult day, we'd like to offer our condolences to Nipsey's family, friends, and fans. May he rest in peace.

Rich The Kid thought twice about his caption referencing Kim Kardashian's relationship status, choosing to edit his words before it became too late-- but people still caught onto his original message.

As you surely know by now, Kim Kardashian West has filed for divorce from her husband Kanye West. The couple had been married for six years. They have four children together. As we witness the derailing of Kim and Kanye's relationship on the final season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, New York-born rapper Rich The Kid felt like giving himself a chance to call dibs on Kim next. He decided to shoot his shot on Instagram, posting a picture and saying, "Calabasas in Rolls, I heard Kim K was single."

It only took him a few minutes for him to alter the caption, changing it to a basic motivational saying. "Don’t rush everything will come together with time & good faith," said RTK in the edited post. While the message no longer appears, the damage is already done and everybody knows that Rich is trying to spend some extracurricular time with one of the most successful businesswomen in her field, Kim K.

Offset's Baby Mama Defends Quavo After Saweetie Altercation

At this point, we're going to need Jada Pinkett Smith to hand Saweetie and Quavo an invitation to the next episode of Red Table Talk because their split just keeps getting messier and messier.

Last week, the hip-hop couple called off their relationship following cheating allegations on social media. Saweetie said that Quavo had been unfaithful with her, calling out the rapper and claiming that all of the gifts he got her failed to cover up the pain he caused her. Coincidentally, days after their breakup was announced, a video surfaced showing Saweetie and Quavo in a physical altercation in an elevator. Saweetie attempts to punch her boyfriend, which he dodges before he drags her into the elevator and leaves her on the ground without helping her up. Many are saying that Quavo abused his girlfriend in the video.

As commentators continue to give their two cents on what they saw in the video, people like Adrien Broner, Trouble, and others are backing up Quavo and saying that nothing serious happened in the video. We can officially count Shya L'amour among those folks as Offset's baby mama chimed in, telling everyone that they haven't seen the full thing yet.

Responding to somebody who called out Quavo for abuse, Shya said, "But this isn't the whole video," alongside an emotionless emoji.

In a quick post-and-delete move, Lakeith reportedly shared a screenshot of a Deadline article that spoke about the Oscars changing their in-person policy and possibly opening the ceremony up to Zoom. The Academy received backlash for reportedly stating that attendees were required to meet at the scheduled venue.

"No one cares lmao," the actor wrote in the caption. "Real stuff is happening. Who cares about awards." Previously, there was also a bit of confusion surrounding Stanfield's nomination this year as people quickly noticed that both he and Kaluuya were lead actors in Judas and the Black Messiah, but The Academy didn't give either actor a lead role nod and instead, placed them in the supporting category.

The pair recently welcomed their daughter, Hunter, into the world—Zonniques first child and Izzy's third—but it wasn't news about their newborn that caused the public to question what goes on behind closed doors, but the rapper's response to Quavo and Saweetie's controversial elevator video. 

As expected, Tuesday (March 30) was swamped with commentary regarding the explosive video that showed Saweetie and Quavo in an elevator as they fought over a case. The clip has been polarizing, particularly in the Rap community, and now Bandhunta Izzy and Trouble have shared their thoughts. Izzy delivered his take over on his Instagram Story.

"If u think dats abuse, u must not never seen abuse before," wrote Izzy. Quickly, people began making assumptions about his relationship with Zonnique, but the couple has remained unproblematic throughout their years-long romance. Pusha T Says Album Is Pretty Much Complete: "I Gotta Go Sit With [Kanye]"

Are you ready for Pusha T season? We've slowly received updates regarding Pusha's forthcoming album, a project that follows up his 2018 G.O.O.D. Music release, DAYTONA. Fans have been pestering the rapper for a new record for these last three years, and after learning that Kanye West and Pharrell Williams will exclusively split production credits, Pusha T hopped on Instagram Live hours ago to share that the album will be released sometime this year.

"Yeah, I'm working on an album right now," Pusha told a host during the virtual chat. He revealed that he hasn't yet chosen a title, but he offered an update and said there are "probably 12" songs on the project. The rapper was asked about how many tracks he lays in the studio before he begins deciding on what will make the album.

"I usually don't do a lot of extras. I feel like I have some extras right now but I'm gonna keep twelve," Pusha added. The album is pretty much complete, the rapper confirmed, but he still has a few loose ends he has to tie up. "I gotta go sit in with Ye for a little bit, but other than that, it's just these twelve. That's what it's gonna be."

In another post that showed off Natalia's new cardinal and gold school colors swag, Vanessa continued to gush over the good news. "Congratulations Nani Banani!!!!!! If you wouldn’t have been accepted I would’ve had to have stabbed these balloons in the guest room and have thrown all this away," Vanessa joked. "Thank goodness you got in... Suspect In Rapper Tay Way's Murder Arrested, Allegedly Tied To Manor Boyz Gang: Report

It was an average day in September 2020 when Lamonta "Tay Way" Butcher took a video of himself standing in front of his local Richmond, California liquor store. It was the middle of the day and there were plenty of people on the busy street, but minutes after sharing his video to Instagram, the 29-year-old was chased and gunned down. We previously reported on the vicious murder of rapper Tay Way, and yesterday (March 29), the East Bay Times stated that a suspect has been taken into custody.

According to the publication, 22-year-old Deante Reed has been arrested and charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Reed was also tacked with an attempted murder charge for a non-fatal shooting in the city just six days prior to Tay Way's slaying that allegedly involved him firing off shots at a rival gang member. That alleged victim was reportedly struck twice. In the shooting that took the Tay Way's life, two others were hurt but survived their injuries.

It's also reported that prosecutors allege Tay Way's murder involved the Manor Boyz gang, a group tied to the Richmond area. The District Attorney's office believes that there were multiple people who took part in the murder. It's unclear if prosecutors think Reed is the triggerman, but the charges seem to state that even if he wasn't the person who fired the shots, he could be still be held accountable for the crime.

Reed is reportedly being held without bail and will return to court on April 6.

Cardi B Calls Out Hypocrisy Of Utah Restricting Porn, Says FDLS Is "Molesting Children"

It was recently shared that Utah governor Spencer Cox signed a bill that would place pornography filters on all cell phones and tablets sold in the state. Those against the legislation argue that this is a move that intrudes on free speech, but Gov. Cox doesn't see things in the same light. The controversy has rangled in opinions from people of all backgrounds, including Cardi B who is often the center of conversations regarding explicit content and appropriate behavior.

"I respect everyone’s religion but Utah restricting porn and not regulating the disgusting things that happens in the FLDS .That cult is disturbing," the rapper tweeted about The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Restricting or banning pornographic images doesn't come as a surprise to many Utah residents; Some counties prohibit the sale of alcohol and tobacco, and in some areas, you previously needed a membership to patronize bars.

Someone pointed that out to Cardi. "I understand that .I will understand if they restrict porn because the state is very religious," she added. Lil Nas X Responds To Accusation That He Copied FKA Twig's "Cellophane" Visual

Between giving Lucifer a hell-throned lapdance and selling Satan-centered shoes, Lil Nas X has been kicking up dust over the last few days. His "MONTERO (Call My By Your Name)" music video has created a firestorm as people have lauded for the "canceling" of the young star. Lil Nas X has stated that he's been preparing for the release of his "MONTERO" single for the better parts of nine months, suggesting that he was fully prepared for the backlash. He has been checking people left and right as they disagree with him, but FKA Twig's video director has a bone to pick with the singer regarding his visual looking eerily similar to the star's music video for "Cellophane."

Out Magazine reports that director Andrew Thomas Huang had a few comments about Lil Nas X's latest visual. "There's no winning when this happens," Huang reportedly wrote on his Instagram Stories. "Been copied before but this feels different... Consider the power you wield and the artists you harm when you capitalize on our blood, sweat, tears, and emotional labor."

In his interview Time, the rapper mentioned Twig's pole work in her "Cellophane" video, and Huang later told the publication that this goes far beyond Lil Nas X. “It put into perspective how small, indie artists like me and Twigs don’t really don’t make a lot of money, and our platform is limited because we’re trying hard to make challenging work."

“When someone who is commercially successful makes work that lives so similarly next to ours and profits from it on such a massive scale, then I felt like I had to speak up.” Huang added, “I think Twigs and Lil Nas are both doing important work. The question is, who benefits from their work? The answer is record labels. The anger it stokes between artists just increases divisions between underrepresented artists. So I think there’s something larger and systemic here at work.”

This evening (March 30), Lil Nas X shared a post to social media where he honored Huang and Twigs for their previous work. "I was not aware that the visual would serve as a major inspiration for those who worked on the effects of my video," he wrote in the caption. "I want to say thank u to twigs for calling me and informing me about the similarities between the two videos, as i was not aware they were so close."

Malik Beasley Questions Paternity Of Son, Montana Yao Denied Spousal Support: Report

The ruckus regarding Malik Beasley's romance with Larsa Pippen may have died down, but the legal battle with his estranged wife, Montana Yao, continues. The Minnesota Timberwolves star, 24, was captured on a date with Pippen, 46, last year and after the photo went viral, people began to speculate about their relationship. Yao came forward to say she was unaware that her husband was dating, but Pippen claimed Beasley and Yao had split and have been separated.

Beasley and Pippen put on a united front against the trolls and accusations of infidelity, and on Tuesday (March 30), new reports have surfaced regarding Beasley's divorce. According to Us Weekly, Beasley is contesting the paternity of the two-year-old son he shares with Yao. “[The] results of those tests are unknown as of the date of this Order,” the court documents reportedly state.

"Montana’s taking Makai to get one tomorrow [March 31],” Yao's rep told the outlet regarding the paternity test. “It’s comical for her that he has requested a paternity test because this entire time on social media he has claimed Makai to be his son and he knows it’s his son.” Unsubstantiated rumors have circulated that Yao may have cheated on Beasley with an NFL player.

Additionally, it's also reported that back in December 2020, Yao requested $8,000 per month in temporary spousal support, but yesterday (March 29), that was denied. She will, however, reportedly receive $6,500 per month in temporary child support.

Ghanaian Rapper Yaw Tog Commands Attention On New EP "Time"

Drill's sound has touched pretty much every part of the world at this point. Ghanian artist emerged with his debut single, "Sore" which emphasizes that song heavily. Later came along a remix with Stormzy as well as a few other singles which led to the release of Friday's Time, the latest EP from Yaw Tog. Laced seven songs, including "Sore (Remix)" ft. Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur, Yaw Tog showcases his versatility as an artist that can find a comfort zone in any sort of genre you throw his way.

"I’m very much an Asakaa boy, but I wanted people to know I can do every type of music, from drill to hip-hop and Afrobeats. I want to build connections with this one, with people from every genre," said Yaw Tog in an interview with DJMag about his new EP.

Jay Worthy & Sha Hef Connect For New Project "No Sleep For The Wicked"

The hustle never ends for Jay Worthy who seemingly releases a new project every season, at least. This week, the rapper and Sha Hef connected for their brand new collaborative project, No Sleep For The Wicked. The project includes the previously released single, "Borgata" that flips the classic Flamingos' record, "I Only Have Eyes for You." The six-song EP showcases the two rappers offer grim and honest depictions of the street life over smooth and soulful production.

This marks the first release from Jay Worthy this year. In late 2020, he reunited with Sean House for LNDN DRGS Burnout 4. As for Sha Hef, No Sleep For The Wicked follows the release of his 2020 project, Numb.

Naya Rivera Wrongful Death Lawsuit: County Claims She Denied Life Vest: Report

The unexpected July 2020 death of Naya Rivera is playing out in court. The Glee actress drowned in California's Lake Piru after reportedly pushing her son on a boat to safety before losing her life. There have been varying reports regarding Rivera's death and her family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Ventura County Parks and Recreation Management. According to them, the boat Rivera and her son Josey rented was unsafe because there weren't life vests available. However, the County has responded by stating that isn't true.

According to Parks and Rec, Rivera was allegedly offered a life vest but ultimately decided not to wear it. It's reported that when Josey was found floating alone on the rented boat, he was wearing a vest, but when Rivera's remains were located days later, she wasn't. The Blast reports that court documents from the County state, "Ms. Rivera was offered a life vest by Parks Management Company’s boat rental agent, which Ms. Rivera declined to wear, after which the rental agent ‘put the vest in the rental boat’.”

"Regardless of whether the (The Family) allege that the boat was not equipped with flotation devices, a life vest was present in the boat at the time of the incident.” Meanwhile, Ryan Dorsey, Naya's ex-husband, issued a complaint against Ventura County Parks and Recreation, accusing them of renting out a boat “not equipped with a safely accessible ladder, adequate rope, an anchor, a radio, or any security mechanisms to prevent swimmers from being separated from their boats."

Parks and Rec reportedly responded to Dorsey by saying he is mistaken. “Other than the lack of an anchor, no facts are alleged demonstrating how a lack of any of these things caused (Naya's) death. The pleading does not allege that Ms. Rivera died while attempting to climb back into the boat, and therefore a lack of a safety ladder did not cause her death." The County believes Rivera simply separated from her boat and struggled to return. They don't believe it is of any fault of thier own that the actress sadly passed away.
